Patton Heart also known as the hero LightHeart was alone one night in his home when there was a sudden knock on the door. 
Patton opened the door to see his arch-nemesis bruised and bleeding on his doorstep. The man in question was Remus Duke a world-renowned villain known for being cruel and sadistic. Remus mumbled "I didn't know where else to go" and promptly collapsed in Patton's arms. 
When Remus woke up he expected to be in a jail cell by now, but no he was in a medium-sized room adorned in white, gold, and light blue. He was very confused and right then his nemesis walked in with a first aid kit to redo his bandages, as he'd already bled through the previous ones. Patton saw that he was awake and spoke gently to him, "How are you feeling?" 
The sadistic man looked up at the worried figure tears building in his eyes "Why do you care?" He asked confused as to why anyone would help someone as horrible as him 
"Well, even though I don't necessarily agree with your actions you're still human and need help." Patton responded walking closer to the bed where Remus was laying. 
"O-oh" Remus stammered starting to cry a bit because no one has ever been this nice to him. Patton notices Remus's tears and asks if he's still in that bad of pain "N-no it's just no one has ever been this nice to me before." Remus mumbles sniffing slightly
 "That's horrible! I've only done the bare minimum!" The kind man exclaims feeling sorry for him.
 "Eh it's okay I guess I'm used to it at this point." Remus mutters as Patton starts to work on his wounds. As Patton got done he asked Remus if there was anything else he needed and after assuring that he was okay Patton leaves the room telling Remus to call him if he needs him. 
After Patton leaves Remus is left alone with his thoughts something he hated. Why's he being so nice? Is he pretending to care so he can turn me in? I'm sure he actually doesn't care about me. Why would he? I haven't done anything to deserve his empathy. I'm just a burden on him. I'm a horrible person... 
Remus is kicked from his thoughts by the door opening and Patton asking if he's alright "Yeah, I'm fine" Remus mumbled refusing to look into his eyes. 
"Okay then kiddo I'll let you stay here until your wounds are healed, but I can't keep you here longer than that" 
"O-okay thank you" Remus glances up into Patton's blue eyes that held a look he had never seen before. Kindness. 
"No problem" Patton smiles at him "Do you want me to set up a movie for you?" Remus looks up at him and mutters a yeah "Okay, kiddo" 
The two of them then went through the movies Patton had, chose one and Patton ended up staying and watching the movie with him. The opposites got closer over the next couple of days and eventually became fast friends. 
After Remus was fully healed and had to leave Patton eventually convinced him to get a therapist and so he did. The two fell fast in love and started dating. 
"I love you, Remus" 
"I love you too Patton"
