Alana rushes down the white marble stairs. Will Hate Follow? She looks behind her, terrified.  "Ah fuck," she curses. Her forearms were stained blue from the chilly stones she touched. She looks at the young knight she accidentally ran into, terrified. Who exactly is that? How could she be so naive? The young knight's veiled eyes are dark and wicked. His pale, thin lips form a mocking, nasty smile. Alana examines his young, oblong-shaped face, which is ornamented with a short, dark blond circle beard. His shoulder-length, dark blonde hair cascades down his beautiful ivory face, concealing his pointy ears. Alana, terrified, remains on the rough steps until he savagely grabs her. "No stop," she yells, struggling between his muscular hands. She futilely attempts to hit his chain mail. The young demon presses his arm on her throat. "Don't," Alana squeaks, pleading. The knight is deafeningly quiet. Under his muscular arm, he presses her arms against her chest. Her eyes shine with tears. Hate walks down the stairs slowly. She has no place to go! Her back is against the chest of the knight. She desperately tries to slip through his arms once more. When he grips her hair, she begs again. "Stop moving," the boy finally commands sternly. Hate approaches her calmly. He has a scary smirk on his lips. "I would do whatever Vengeance requests... unless you want to end up like that whore upstairs." "No," Alana says quietly. Mother? Was it Vengeance that killed her? Why? What did mother ever do to him to deserve this? Is this the boy mother warned her about? Alana's eyes well up with tears. Mother, she laments. Her beautiful voice, her friendly personality. Why would someone wish to cause her harm? "Why"? As Hate's rough fingers caress Alana's jaw, she cautiously places her teeth on her lower lip. "Don't worry, vengeance isn't as bad as people say.""... He's worse, "Hate chuckles teasingly. Vengeance laughs sarcastically. Alana casts a glance over her shoulder to the dark yellow coat of arms that adorns his muscular, tall body. How is she going to save Katinka now? The robbers had most likely already fled with her. Alana must go, or she will never be able to save Katinka! Alana inspects the brown boots, which have Vengeance's pants sloppy inside. But what is she supposed to do? She is in the minority. She'll never be able to fight with two demons! She brushes her fingertips gently over the black leather belt that is securely wrapped around Vengeance's waist. She is powerless. She's never used a sword before. She's never fought before. A sword is useless in her hands. Alana fixes her gaze on the creature in front of her. His dark pants are tucked into his black pirate boots. What is the significance of a knight wearing pirate boots? Hate dirty smiles. "What am I going to do with you? Vengeance"? Vengeance laughs. "I do have some suggestions" . Alana shivers as the demons laugh at her. Hate chuckles "of course". Alana examines the unshaven stubble on Hate's chin. Hate nods to Vengeance. Vengeance smiles and grabs Alana's wrists. "No," she says gently, wriggling. Hate chuckles and touches his dark short hair. "I already have an idea," he says with a grin. "Why are you doing this," Alana cries, squirming in the arms of Vengeance. Hate smiles and approaches. He wipes her hair slowly and murmurs in her pointed ear, "you are still too innocent, too pure... I want to break you and play with you." Alana shakes her head as she looks up at the demon. "What have I ever done?" She screams angrily while fighting Vengeance in his arms. The two demons laugh amusedly. "Amuse yourself," Hate murmurs quietly to Vengeance, who smiles. "No limit" ? "Alive," Hate responds flatly, and then vanishes into thin air. Alana shivers in anxiety as she takes a big breath. Vengeance smiles and spins her around fast. "This is how the fun begins," he teasingly says. When he pushes her up against the white stone wall, Alana shakes her head. "How shall we begin?" he asks, rubbing her long curls over her shoulder. He savagely bites her neck open. Alana closes her eyes, crying. Why? Why is everything being taken away from her? As if it were nothing? And what happened to Rodehanthe? Alana's mind was racing with questions. Vengeance raises his head, licking his lips. Alana attempts to pull her body away from him, but this only pushes her closer to him. His hard penis rubs against her hip. Alana can't tell who is trembling the most. He or she? Only she realizes he isn't shaking in dread like she is... His firm grip on her wrists causes her fingers to become frigid. She begins to feel light in her mind as he drains her blood. He abruptly releases her neck and turns her back to his chest. "No," she protests, and attempts to flee the boy. He laughs quietly. He finds it amusing how hard she struggles to flee... to survive. While his left hand slips gently over her hip, his right-hand presses her against him. She cannot allow him to win! There must be a way to get away from this... demon! "Vengeance, let go of me," she commands firmly. Vengeance laughs. "OK," he says, surprised, and removes his arm. Alana groans as she collapses on the chilly floor. "Not like that," she grumbles, carefully raising her head. Vengeance laughs. "You could have said that," he jokes, taking a step closer. He flips her over on her back. "You look so frail right now," he laughs. Alana snarls angrily. She raises her legs and kicks him in the lower tummy with both feet. Couching Vengeance takes a step back. Alana leaps to her feet and sprints away. Vengeance pursues her. "You filthy whore," he hisses meanly before grabbing her once more. "No," Alana screams in terror, trying to break free from his grasp. She attempts to shove him away, but the possessed youngster is too powerful. "Can't you find someone your own size?" she hisses. Vengeance laughs. "What's the fun in that" he asks quietly. Alana lets out a quiet groan. His lips are curled in a smile. "If only you knew what he has planned for you." Alana appears surprised. "What do you mean?" Vengeance laughs amused and blinks. His hand moves up across her tummy, towards her breasts. She slams the back of her head into his face when his hand grips one of her breasts. "GAH," Vengeance growls and takes a step back. She pushes him backward with all her strength, taking advantage of his closed eyelids. When Vengeance falls into the fireplace, he roars tormented. The cinder is still burning and hot. He screams as he tries to flee the flaming ashes. He snatches her ankle. Alana lands on the lush green carpet with a thud. She kicks him in the face and straightens up. "Burn in hell, asshole," she groans, grabbing the tablecloth. The candelabra on the table falls to the wooden floor with a dull thump, producing a sea of flames between the two. She looks at the raging flames with remorse. This was her house, and she had just lit it on fire. She flees, thinking that the fires will put an end to Vengeance. Everything she ever possessed is suddenly on fire. But she didn't have time to be sad. She must inform Jaspar. He'll figure out what to do! As she steps into the stable building, blood pours down her brow. She walks to the stable, grabbing the dark leather saddle by the horn. A coconut brown horse raises its head gently. "Come on, Pearl," she says softly as she touches Pearl's neck. When the big animal runs over the boulders with a loud clatter, the villagers react angrily.

"Professor" Alana yells and slams the door. In his nightgown, he opens the door. He wields a scimitar in his left hand. "Alana, you're giving me a heart attack," Jaspar yells. He shifts his sight to Pearl. When he discovers the blood, he becomes terrified. He curses softly and drags Alana into his home. "Professor, listen to me, there isn't time," she grumbles. "Katinka has been taken prisoner" .Jaspar remains silent and trembles as he closes the door. "Professor, Hate is here in this village."Jaspar curses in a language Alana cannot comprehend. "Alana, pay close attention. I'll make sure Katinka gets all the assistance she needs. I've got people...In the mountains. They'll save her. I guarantee you that. I can call them later, but not right now. You must comply with my request. Take pearl, ride hard, and never look back. Make way for the village called Héra. There you must search for the man named Gmork." "Professor... Will you not accompany me?" Jaspar lets out a sigh. "I have to make sure you get away safely. I need to divert Hate's attention." Alana glances at the old man and says, "No, please." "Please come with me, Professor." I can't do it by myself!" Jaspar gives a gentle smile. "I know you can, my sweet child." You are stronger than you believe." "Well, I don't want to," she says, sighing. Alana has lost far too many people to be alone at this time. Jaspar gives a nod. He quickly clears everything from his table and unfolds a map. "You see this village," he continues, pointing to a sketch of a little town at a river bend. "You must go there." Gmork is the safest place you can go. He can assist you, train you, and teach you. As much as I ever could." "But who is this... Gmork?" "He is one of my allies.  Alana, just trust me." Alana gives the professor a brief glance. Can she put her trust in him? She swallows before nodding. "I do," she says quietly. Jaspar smiles with relief. "Don't give up hope now Alana, you were destined to do this!" Alana lets out a sigh. That's her bad luck yet again. All she ever wanted was to live her own life, with her own set of rules and choices. She seemed to be born with no choice. Without the potential of a good life. When a loud scream echoes across the village, Jaspar and Alana look up. "There isn't time," Jaspar says quietly. "You must leave!" "We must leave," Alana insists. Jaspar examines the chain around her collar. "Do you remember what I said about that amulet, Alana?" he asks, covering the chain. Alana gives a nod. "This is very important, so listen well; He can never, ever know that you have this, do you understand?" Alana takes a swallow. "I get what you're saying. But, Professor, I still have a lot of questions!" "Later, my child, now we must depart," Jaspar orders, beckoning. Alana turns to face the door. "But Katinka?" "I promise, as soon as we are safe, I will send word to my allies." Alana bites her lower lip. But she needs to help Katinka right now... "Come on child, hurry now!" Alana sighs. She follows Jaspar into the rear entrance of his house, hesitantly. Jaspar swallows as he peers around the corner. "It's safe," he says quietly. "Professor, what are we going to do?" "I am going to take my horse and we are going to ride out of town, as fast as we can!" Alana gives a nod. Her heart is pounding in her throat. "Relax child, I know you can do this." "I... don't.." Jaspar gives her a smile and rests his hands on her shoulders. "My dear Alana, take a big breath. This is something you were born to do. You've got this. I have faith in you. Now be still and follow me," he says as he turns around. He walks slowly toward the sole stable attached to the back of his house. Alana scans the area, fearful that the beast will appear again. "This is firecracker." "Firecracker?" Alana asks humorously. "I didn't name her," Jaspar chuckles as he rubs the ice-colored D pony. Alana beams. "She's a beauty." "Ay, that she is," Jaspar says as he mounts the mare. "Now Alana, I want you to take Pearl, and ride behind me." "Where are you taking me?" "Go now," Jaspar orders. Alana takes a swallow. She takes a big breath and sniffs. "Does that smell like... burned wood?" "Go," Jaspar yells, pushing her out of the stable. Alana quickly pushes herself into the saddle. "Hiya," she says out loud. Jaspar nods as he glances at her. He whisks Alana away from town before she realizes it. She has no time to mourn or say farewell. Alana brings the gallant horse to a halt for a few seconds and looks at the snow-covered village. Here and there fumes arise. Houses are on fire, and screams echo into the sky.  "I will never have a home again," she laments, urging Pearl once again. There was nothing she could return to, no one she could return to. Rodehanthe, like Katinka, had made a sacrifice for her. In honor of The Chosen One. Ignorant, unarmed, and unskilled, she was now forced to search for a name. Before he fher...
