TW TALKS OF DEPRESSION AND SU!CIDAL THOUGHTS.
Corpse and Alexis found themselves back in their cars, on their way to a random store that Alexis had found online. She'd never been, but she always wanted to go. She texted Corpse the address, then started off towards the store. As she drove down the street to find a parking space, she noticed how the sky had darkened more.
She found an empty parking lot and parked in the far corner. She stayed in her car before she saw Corpse pull up beside her. She grabbed her mask and quickly put it on before getting out of the car. Corpse met her at the back of her car and walked towards the building. Alexis dashed across the street while Corpse walked at a normal pace.
They walked in and were greeted with the smell of dust. Corpse started to cough, but he laughed it off. "It smells like dust in here," he said looking at the girl whose eyes were scanning the room.
"You smell History, Corpse." She walked over to the shelf and dragged her finger along it. Her finger was caked with dust when she pulled it away. "Okay, maybe it is the smell of dust." She laughed.
Alexis had always loved to go thrifting, had since she was young. Growing up, Alexis's family didn't have a lot of money. She didn't remember a time when they weren't struggling for bills. It was a hassle when only her mom worked. Her dad never did anything to help out at home, and it always fell to Alexis, as she was the oldest child.
Alexis started to think about her family and wondered what their life was like now that she was gone. She didn't want anyone to know, especially Rae, but she still worried about her family. Rae knows what they all had done to her, and what they put inside her head, and Rae would think it was insane that she was worried about the people that caused her so much pain.
Corpse noticed how Alexis stayed silent as they walked through the store. He wasn't looking at the stuff around them, more at the beautiful girl in front of him. He was scanning her, trying to see every part of the woman he... loved... when he noticed she had a small tattoo behind her ear. He leaned in to see it, but Alexis turned to look at him.
"Do you have a tattoo on your ear?" He asked, his face flushing at his forwardness.
"Uh, yeah. I got it a few years ago."
**Beginning of TW**
"I like it. What is it of?" Alexis sighed and pulled her hair back so he could see. "A semicolon?" She nodded, pulling her hair back. Corpse didn't get to ask her what it meant, because she turned away and headed to the end of the aisle. He made a mental note to search it up later.Alexis ran off before he could ask any questions, not wanting to get into the conversation in public. Secretly, she thought he wouldn't like her if he knew about her mental health issues. That's why she didn't want him to know she had anxiety and depression, especially not that she thought about suicide often.
**End of TW**Corpse walked over to her and saw a neon pizza sign hanging on the wall. He smiled at it and grabbed it down. She smiled up at him and told him she knew exactly where to put it. They walked around the store picking up items to put into his apartment. His hands were full, and by the end of the trip, hers were too. They laughed as they had someone help them put everything on the counter to be rung in.
