She had her back to the door, having gotten changed while Alex was in the shower, and now it was his turn.

"Al? Do they fit?" She asked after a bit.

He came out, holding his arms up. The shirt didn't fit him at all, and the trousers just about did. He smiled awkwardly, "Do you mind if I take off the shirt?"

Suddenly the same tension as when they were over at his house was in the room. She told him it was fine and he took it off. However the tensions lowered as they got into the bed, and he pulled her into his arms.

"Goodnight Sugar."

"Goodnight Love."

******************************

She was shook awake by Alex, fully dressed again and looked ready to go, "Y/N...Love? I'm sorry but I have to go, work stuff, I made you breakfast in bed though, but I gotta shoot." She nodded, leaned up to kiss him gently and then he left.

She turned over and saw he had made her breakfast in bed. It was (favourite breakfast food) made perfectly. She very quickly ate it, and checked the time on her phone, 9:30. She began to think of how she would spend her day, and once she had it planned she threw herself out of the bed and headed straight for the shower.

Once she was out of the shower, she got dressed and headed into her front room. On the way there she picked up her laptop. The first step of her day was to apply for a photography class. She found one which she liked the look of, and quickly applied and payed for it.

After doing that she got up and stretched her arms before running around to find her shoes and a jacket. A jacket. Without knowing it, Alex had left his jacket there. It was placed by the front door, how in the world he missed it she didn't know. She decided to let Alex know, and rung him.

"Heya." She spoke into the phone.

"Hiya love, what's up?" She could hear him fiddling with something in the background and there was some yelling from behind him.

"Just thought I'd let you know that you left your jacket here." She laughed a little at the end.

"Oh shite, I did!" There was a pause, "You gonna wear it love?" She could practically hear him smirking on the other end.

"I wasn't planning on but now that you say it..." She titled her head to look at the jacket.

"I think you'd look killer in it. Go on, wear it. I have to go, oh, did you enjoy breakfast?" He sounded like an excited child at the end.

"I did. It was perfect." She was about to continue, as she slipped on her shoes but she heard someone yell, "Turner! Stop talking to your missus, and get your ass over here!"

"I gotta go." He laughed, "Bye doll."

"Bye love." She barely finished her sentence before some more yelling and then he hung up.

She smiled and rubbed her face, before getting Alex's leather jacket and putting it on. She also remembered the camera, and thought it might be a good idea to get some practice in. She didn't have the chance to get any yesterday, so maybe today she could just take some mindless pictures.

As Y/N did most days she left her apartment and locked it, before going down the stairs. From there she walked a while, until she found a row of second hand shops and vintage shops. The camera bounced against her leg in her bag, but it was till morning so the light wasn't at it's best.

She started with the first shop, going in to see if anything caught her eye, maybe anything for Alex or The Monkeys in general. After going around the second hand shop, she didn't find anything, and moved onto the second which proved to be a lot more fruitful. In there, she found an old record player. The price was high, around the £50.00-£90.00 range, but once her eyes found it, her mind had made up the decision to buy it. It was the weirdest colour of light blue with a light pink inside and the actual record player seemed to be in good condition.

She bought it then and there, not giving anyone else the chance to take it, and she stayed a bit longer in the shops as she discovered they had tubs and tubs of records by the windows. In her mind, she knew which ones she was looking for, but would never admit it. She was desperately searching for a flash of cream, or maybe a grey brown with muddy yellow, perhaps it was an almost blue tinge. Eventually she found one, Whatever People Say I am, I'm Not. Her heart skipped a beat and she bought it for £7.99. She also picked up one other album by The Strokes as a gift for Alex, Is This It.

She didn't know if she'd find anything else in the other shops, but she still went to take a look. She didn't buy anything, but she froze when she saw an AM poster on the streets. She wondered how many times this would happen, but that was her art

She laughed, and ran across the road to take a photo. Alex probably wouldn't have the same rush, he sees his face everywhere.

Before returning to her apartment she took a look in the other shops to find any other records, and she did find a Florence and The Machine one, as well as a few others which she bought.

As she made her way back to her apartment, she got a phone call from Nick, which she quickly answered,

"Heya, O'malley what's up?" She asked, as she unlocked her door.

"You might want to look at your laptop or phone."

She kicked off her shoes, put down everything she had bought and pulled out her laptop. She put Nick on loud speaker and logged into her laptop.
"What's happened?" She asked.

"The press again. Just look up your name and Alex. We all know it isn't true, but you have the right to know." She hear him sigh down his end and some angry yelling in the background which she quickly recognised was Alex, yelling something along the lines of "Fucking wankers! They have no right to do that to her!"

She found google, typed in her name and waited for the results. It was just some basic stuff like "Alex Turner can't keep his hands off new girlfriend, Y/N Helders in public." and other such things.

It was all fine, until she saw the article Nick was talking about,

Is Y/N Helders using Arctic Monkeys as a claim to fame?

Y/N Helders was already the sister to the drummer of the band, but perhaps it wasn't enough for her. Now she is pursuing the frontman of the band.

We asked one of Turner's ex-girlfriends what she thought about it. Alexa Chung gave us her honest opinion,

"No. I think you have it all wrong. Y/N isn't guilty of anything of the sort. If anything, you lot are just being [redacted] for the drama. You're [redacted] plotting people against each other just because we had the same boyfriend at some point?! The [redacted] audacity. It's petty and just rude. I have nothing against her, I think she's brilliant and gorgeous. Me and Alex ended on good terms and we still talk sometimes too this day."

She couldn't read anymore of the article. However she made a mental note to ask for Alexa's number.

"You read it?" Nick asked.

"Yeah." She sighed, "Nick I gotta go."

"Alright, I'll tell Alex to ring you when he's calmed down." He finished, and left.

She was about to start running a bath to relax, when her phone went off again. This time an unknown number. She answered, and before she could speak a female voice said, "Hi, is this Y/N Helders?"

She sighed, "Yeah it is."

"Hiya!" She heard the person on the other side light up, "It's Alexa Chung, from that article. I wanted to know if you'd like to meet up for coffee at some point?"

She laughed, "I'd love too. When are you free?"

"Are you around tomorrow?" She could hear Alexa smiling.

"I am. Tomorrow then?"

"Tomorrow. 12 O'clock?"

"Perfect."

This is just an A/N. I'm gonna say this now, that I'm putting Alexa in the story because I want "you" and her to be friends, and this may seem weird, but I'll explain it all next chapter.
