suna hadn't slept all that much, he did his packing last minute yet got distracted quickly. he ended up falling asleep around 3:30, only giving him about an hour and a half of sleep before he woke again to ready himself to meet the team. since the twins didn't live far away them and their mom came to pick him up.

he was nibbling on some toast when osamu texted saying they were close. he grabbed his duffel bag and backpack then left.

at the end of the driveway was the miya's waiting in their vehicle, atsumu was waving cheerfully from the front. once he got in osamu -unlike atsumu, looked very groggy, not that suna could say he looked any different.

"good morning rintaro", misses miya chimed glancing to him in the rear view mirror.
"g'morning, thank you for the ride", "it's no problem! you boys shouldn't have to walk so far this early in the morning."

suna chuckled and looked outside to the passing houses. shortly they arrived at the school right on time. "okay boys have fun, be safe!" miss miya said grabbing her two sons into a hug.

suna smiled at the exchange while atsumu whined that she was embarrassing. osamu was still waking up, suna knew that that man could sleep for ages and ages.

she kissed both them on top the head then ruffled their hair, suna couldn't help but long for a relationship with his family like that. a caring and embracing family wasn't something him and mai exactly grew up to know.

of course in the beginning they'd get the attention they needed, when they started school though that attention was never given and both of the suna children knew not to ask for it.

it wasn't that the suna parents were neglecting their children, they were busy people but they also believed that them growing independently and strong would help them prosper as teens and adults. rintaro earned a degree of praise and respect when he was scouted in junior high for his volleyball skills, wasn't his dads ideal achievement but it was something.

rintaro knew that mai would have trouble being raised with high expectations, so he tried his best to help her with whatever he could.

"oi suna, miyas!" aran waved from the side, they walked to the bus and put their luggage to the side to go into bagging.

"okay we got almost everyone.. it's 5:20 so they better get here quick." coach said checking his watch. kita must've came down earlier since the walk would've taken a bit of time. omi and akagi got dropped off too and soon after yoshioka was outside with them.

"okay that's everybody, we'll be going all the way through towns and cities until we get there so i hope you guys will get some sleep", kurosu said, "go on in a pick your seats."

the team nodded and climbed in, most of them headed for the back, ginjima had taken a seat with aran and the twins in the back, suna also was already back there.

yoshioka was seated in the middle beside a window with one more open spot beside her. the bus was supposed to be full so you'd all have to double up. the coach climbed on saying something about how akagi forgot his shoes in the locker room. akagi scanned for an open seat.

he waddled down and plopped down beside you, "hello yoshioka-chan!" he smiled, however you couldn't match the energy since you were extremely tired. "hi akagi-san"
