I woke up by my alarm but when I turned to wake Lexi up, she wasn't there. I looked over at the bathroom and the lights were on. I got up and as I make my way there, I could hear her throwing up. I opened the door and held her hair with one hand while my other hand was rubbing her back. "it's okay baby, I'm right here," I said. I kept on rubbing her back until she felt better enough to stand. We both took a quick shower and I help her dry her hair. I dried mine while she was getting our outfits together. After we were ready, I asked Edward to bring my car. Before leaving I shot a quick text to my moms that we were on our way to the appointment.
I got in the car after helping Lexi. We make our way to the Doctor that wasn't so far from us. "Are you nervous?" Lexi asks and I smile taking her hand in mine. "A little bit, are you?" I asked her. "Not really, I've been waiting for this day ever since we started trying," she says and I smiled. I leave a sweet kiss on the back of her hand. "Met too," I said. The ride there wasn't long and since it was early there weren't lots of cars so I parked right at the front. I helped Lexi out of the car and we make our way to the main entrance. After asking the nice lady up front to give us directions we waited for our turn. After a couple of minutes, a nurse came to get Lexi for some lab work. I had to stay outside since it wasn't going to take long.
After they were done with Lexi's lab work, they came back to get me. The nurse took us to a room and told us to wait for the doctor. "How are you feeling? Are you hungry? Thirsty? Do you wanna use my hoodie as a pillow?" I asked and Lexi just smiled and shook her head. "I'm fine, are you okay?" She asked. "Pfft, I'm great!" I said waving her off. "You could've fooled me," she laughed. I was going to say something when someone knocked on the door. "Come in!" I said. The doctor opened the door and smiled brightly at us. "Gabby, Lexi! It's so good to see you! How are you feeling?" The doctor asked. "I'm great!" I said smiling. She looked at me and it hit me. "Oh, you were asking Lexi," I said and she nodded. They both started laughing and my face turned as red as a tomato.
She moved closer to Lexi and got the ultrasound stuff. "I can see someone is a bit nervous, but how are you feeling?" She asked looking at Lexi. "I'm okay! Just morning sickness is has been kicking my butt," Lexi said. "We'll see if we can prescribe something for the nausea," she said smiling. She got the gel thingy ready. "It's going to feel cold at first okay? Ready?" She asked. "Yes! I want to see my baby," I said and she smiled. "Right! Not asking me," I said making them laugh. She pointed at the screen and I felt the tears rushing to my eyes. "Is that our baby?" I asked. "Actually, no, not just one baby, Congratulations y'all are having twins," she said and I looked over at Lexi and she smiled. I just let the happy tears run wild and my face was starting to hurt from smiling.

"So for our next appointment, will be quick. We'll check the babies' heartbeat and you know take your blood pressure," she said. "I will have them mailed you the nausea medicine, and if you're working try not to push yourself too hard!" She added. "Don't worry doc, I'll make sure she rests a lot!" I said and she smiled.
