Beyoncé POV

After my talk with Shawn earlier in the week things at school haven't been that hectic for the most part, but people have noticed how gloomy he's been and how we have been avoiding each other like the plague.

I'd occasionally get stares or hear slight murmurs in the hallways as I went to my classes. It was eating me up inside because I'm sure people still thought I was a huge asshole but they honestly aren't in my shoes how are you suppose to react when someone you don't want to be with basically proposes to you in the middle of a homeroom you're not even in.

I was on my way to last class when I saw Shawn turn the corner with his buddy immediately bringing Monday's events back to my mind.

Monday flashback

"What! what do you mean you're giving it back Bey!" Shawn shouted as I put the ring in his hand. I could already tell that this was not going to go smooth.

"Shawn what I'm trying to say is I can't wear this ring. It doesn't feel right knowing that I don't feel the same way about you. We have to officially end this, I can't keep doing this Shawn. Pretending like I'm the person you want me to be. I'm not." I said to him sincerely.

His face was turning red from ear to ear. "Pretending?! So what your saying is basically you never even liked me and everything we had was fake?" He spat.

"No Shawn I'm not sa-" I was trying to explain but he cut me off.

"Why! Why! Why would you let me make a fool out of myself and confess my love to just to break my heart not even 24 hours later?!" He was getting angrier by the second.

He's never put his hands on me but right now I was seeing anger I'd never seen in him before, this wasn't our typical argument. This was our last.

"I DIDN'T TELL YOU TO WRITE ME A FUCKING LOVE PARAGRAPH AND READ IT TO YOUR ENTIRE CLASS!" I shouted at him. He clenched his fisted together and banged on my wall I'm surprised he didn't put a whole in it from the sound it made.

"BEY YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS RIGHT NOW..PLEASE... please tell me your joking." He looked at me with tears forming in his eyes.

I refused to let him drag me back into him.

I just looked away. He noticed I wasn't looking back and he banged his hand on the wall again this time making a crack in the wall. I didn't even flinch because I wasn't going to hesitate fighting him in here but I prayed it didn't come to that.

" YOU'RE SUCH A BITCH BEYONCÉ YOU LED ME ON FOR 2 FUCKING YEARS! 2 YEARS!" He yelled.

He was getting so loud to the point where I'm sure my parents could hear. They usually stay out of our fights but I guess they were just as surprised as me and they both came barging into my room side by side.

"What's going on in here?" My mother asked looking at the crack on the wall next to Shawn's  fist. I'm pretty sure she knew good and well what was going on.

"Apparently nothing." Shawn said not even looking at them but he was staring into my soul.

"Then son I think it's best you leave and cool down." My dad said in a stern voice.

"It's okay Sir you don't ever have to worrying about me coming back." With that he rushed passed them out of the house. My mom, dad and I all just stood there trying to make sense of the situation.

I sped up my walk past Shawn hoping he wouldn't notice me. Just as I was passing I heard him scoff but I just kept going to my class.
Once I made it to my first period I sat down in my usual seat.
