Timeskip two months:

Annie was now three months old and had grown up so much both mentally and physically.

Today, you were having a beach day and the twins couldn't be more excited. Being Bondi babies, they were always visiting the beach but today was particularly special as you and Harrison were taking them surfing.

Maxi was meeting you there and offered to look after Annie whilst you were in the surf.

The twin's were very used to paddling, splashing and swimming in the ocean but you had never taken them surfing before. This was due to the fact that by the time they were old enough, you were pregnant and both you and your husband agreed it wouldn't end well if he tried to have both boys on one board.

"Dadda where is Annie's floaty?" Ethan questioned, referring to the toddler life vest both him and his twin wore but their sister did not.

"Ethan Annie's not coming surfing today, she's going to stay and play with uncle Maxi. Aren't you baby girl?" Harrison asked, pulling funny facial expression which made her emmit her newly found giggle. It wasn't a full blown laugh yet but it definitely conveyed how hilarious she found her father.

"Where is uncle Maxi?" Artur whined- he just couldn't wait to get in the ocean.
You looked up and down from the point where you all stood on the promenade before checking your phone and seeing that he was almost fifteen minutes late.

"I'm not sure Artie. Shall we go and see if he's in the tower?" You suggested, taking one toddler's hand whilst Harrison took the other.

"Guys have you seen Maxi?"You enquired after entering the tower.

"Hey guys! Yea I've seen him, he's organising stuff in the garage with Whippet." Jethro responded.

"Thanks Jeth!" You thanked before heading down the steps to meet your co-worker and friend.

"Max are you down here?" Harrison asked, his eyes searching the darkness of the garage for any sign of Maxi.

"Yea I'm here!" He responded, moving into the light.

"Yay! We go surfing now mumma?" Ethan asked, bouncing impatiently.

"You bet you're going to go surfing little man!"

Timeskip:

After settling Annie with Maxi (which was fairly easy bue to how often he saw her) you were off to give the twins their first ever surfing lesson.

You had just made it to the shoreline and were giving the boys their one millionth safety lecture.

"Right, boys, so when we're on the board you have to listen to mummy and daddy very carefully OK?" Harrison instructed them firmly.

"Yes dadda." They both responded.

"Let's go then!" You exclaimed, laying Arthur on your board as Harrison did the same with Ethan.

You were glad the sea was calm today, in terms of the size of the waves and the number of surfers.

"You ready for your first wave Artie?" You questioned.

"Yes yes yes!" Arthur almost shrieked with excitement and anticipation.

Just before you were about to start paddling for a rather small and safe wave, you saw Maxi holding his phone up as he sat on the sand. You had suggested that he could try and get a video of the twin's first ever surfing experience but you weren't sure if he would be able to capture it from his position on the beach. However, the thumbs up he was giving you suggested he could.

As you paddled, you looked over and saw Harrison preparing to ride the same wave. Fortunately there was enough distance between you two that it didn't pose a danger.

Stroke after stroke went by until you felt the wave take the board and begin to carry you throughh the clear blue water. By the little squeal Arthur gave out, he did too.

"Artie mummy's going to stand up then it will be your turn ok, but just stay where you are for a minute." You directed him, popping up so you stood on the board.

You then leant down and scooped Arthur up onto his feet via his life jacket.

"I surfing mumma!" He exclaimed proudly.

"Ethan surf too!" He informed you. He was right; you gazed to your left to see your husband and son on your wave- smiling just as wide as you and Arthur were.

"He is..." You replied.

This was one of those moments in life that everyone talks about. Those moments you never forget. Your baby girl seemed to be giggling on the beach, your two baby boys were having the time of their lives in the water and you and Harrison were having the time of your lives watching them. It was magical. Surfing had been your passion since before you could remember and now you could share that with three of the people you loved the most and in a couple years time you would be able to share it with Annie as well.

"You did so good baby boy!" You praised Arthur, scooping him into your arms after you disembarked the board in the shallows.

"I love to surf." He told you- his grin still not having faded.

"Me too."
