It's been three weeks since Alex left, he's not been texting as much as he was. You travelled to North Shields to visit your mum for a few weeks. Alex would leave it days before he'd reply to your texts. So... despite your weeks of not seeing Lilly and Ellie, you call them. They were both in Newcastle anyway,
📞📞 "Hey, umm I've not seen you two in a while and I'm really sorry about what happened but I was thinking we could go out for some drinks at the gunner."
"Yeah look I'm sorry I didn't take it as good as you expected but I'll text Ellie now and we'll meet you there at 9 yeah?" "Nice I'll see you later" *puts phone down*
As soon as you put the phone down, you walk over to your wardrobe and pull out a few dresses you had, they were all old but you didn't go out very often anyway. After a while of choosing an outfit, you settle on a tight maroon dress and some black heels. *~time skip~*
A few hours later, you were crawling into a taxi on your way to the pub.

The taxi pulled up outside the gunner, you paid the driver and got out of the car. You sighed as you straightened out your dress. You pushed opened the door and the smell of alcohol stung your nose. Lilly spotted you and ran over "oh my god you look great y/n!" "Trust me you look better" you laughed. "Drinks?" You ordered yourself a gin and tonic and walked over to the small table that the girls were sat at.

You, Lilly and Ellie had a few drinks and were doing karaoke as a small group of men walked in laughing causing you to turn and look their way. "Reight Dru, what drinks are we getting then" a boy said patting 'Dru' on the back. He was about 6ft and had ash blonde hair, it was messy and falling on the front of his head. You could tell he was from Newcastle by his accent, he walked over to the bar and ordered some drinks for the boys. He looked right at you as he was walking back over to his table placing the glasses down on the mats, he whispered something to a boy and started to walk towards you. You stopped laughing and cheering Ellie on at karaoke and watched him carefully as he walked. "You alreight there, your a Bonny lass innet" Wow he was good looking and he was a proper Gordie lad. "I- I'm fine thanks, can I help you with something" you said standing up to find yourself facing his chin. "Aye I'd like to get yer number if that's alreight love" "Umm are you sure my friends might like your number I- I could ask them for you if you want" "Nar I'm good I want yours, come on I'm a nice lad I promise, what's your name?" He asked. "My names y/n, you?" "Sam, Sam fender" "Nice to meet you Sam, pass me your phone then, I'll gladly give you my number" you said. As you were typing in your number to give to Sam, the girls can running up to you "oh my god your Sam fender like the Sam fender, what the fuck y/n how do you know him he's sooo fit" They were practically drooling over him, he was just stood there laughing at them. "Umm guys can you possibly piss of for a minute I'm having a conversation here" you said practically screaming to try and get their attention. A few moments later, Lilly and Ellie walked of silently and you carried on speaking to Sam, he was a great guy and you two had a lot of things in common. *~time skip~* 4 drinks later and a lot of laughs, it was getting late and you needed to go home. "Im sorry Sam but I've really got to get home it's quite late and I don't want to be keeping you from your friends" you said. "Love don't worry about them do you want to come back to mine for a bit, say goodbye to your mates and that?" "Umm yeah sure" you don't normally give into guys that easy and you knew what you were doing, Alex had a new life and has probably forgot about you anyway so why not. "Lilly, Ellie,I'm going home but have a great night guys" you said, you hugged them both and walked out into the cold night air. It was really cold to the point you were actually shivering, you were trying not to show it but you couldn't anymore. "Bloody hell love your freezing, here take mi coat you'll freeze" Sam said wrapping it around you, it smelt like him. Cleaner than Alex, no smoke, no alcohol, just the smell of his aftershave and washing detergent. You pulled the coat further over your shoulders and took in the smell of Sam.
After a while of walking, he stopped outside a house and walked up to the gate and opened it, "It don't look right nice to be fair but its home innet" he said slightly smiling. You walked in the house and Sam shut the door behind you, "right so, what movie are we watching?"
Alex's first suggestion at his house was a movie, don't think about him just pick a bloody movie for fuck sake.
You both ended up settling on resident evil and watched it to the end. By the time the film finished, you and Sam were holding hands and you were snuggled into him ready to fall asleep.
