"You basically went missing for the past few months and now you're back to tell me that you're getting married. What's with this fuckery, Gun Atthaphan?" I  raged over the phone the moment he told me he and Off were finally tying the knot. 
After so many years of denying their own feelings, Off finally gave in to Gun's blatant showing of affection.
We hadn't seen each other for months as he landed a job as a financial analyst at Chiang Mai.
"Tsss. It's not like I left you all of a sudden. I went away to work you idiot. I'm not lik—. I, uh, I'm sorry."
I sighed as he apologized when he didn't have to. 
"It's okay. And I'm trying to get over him anyway," I slumped on the sofa. I just got home from accompanying Earth at the grocery store. I rolled my eyes as I remembered seeing that jerk whilst we were shopping. He really had the nerve to approach me after what he did, all the more after telling me he was buying the company.
"By the way, how's he?"
"The hell I care about him," I scoffed as I grabbed a throw pillow and started punching it whilst thinking it was Tay's face.
"Oh really? The last time I checked, you were bawling your eyes out whilst looking at your photos together, which by the way, you couldn't even delete."
I rolled my eyes as he mocked me on the other line. 
"You know what, you're my friend but I wanna bury you alive sometimes."
I furrowed my eyebrows as he didn't say a word on the other line. Knowing Gun, he would have already cussed me for what I said.
"New. There's something that you need to know. So you need to prepare yourself, okay. I hope you won't hate me for this."
"What is it?"
"I-I'll tell, I mean you'll know at the party tomorrow, okay. I have to go, New. Off's calling me."
I scowled as he ended the call, not even letting me pry about what he meant.
I eventually smiled as I received a message from Earth.

Hon. I can't see you tomorrow. I'll be out of the country for some business convention. Take care of yourself when I'm not around. 😁
I snickered as I read his message especially after noticing that he still used the fake endearment that I gave him.
"Tsss. Silly," I chuckled as I headed towards the bathroom.

"Neeeww. I swear, I didn't knowww," Gun nudged my arm as he followed me inside their house. I needed to get away from the rest of the group as soon as possible.
"I was also surprised when I saw his name on the guest list. Off never introduced him to me. I didn't even saw them hangout together. You're just as surprised as I am. New, can you stop walking fast, my legs are short, you giant!" Gun grabbed my arm with both of his hands and pulled me as hard as he could.
