"Now, with the Triwizard Tournament in place, the tradition goes like previous years. The Yule Ball is a tradition that goes along with the Tournament. This is also where our champions do the traditional dance, this is required to all who attend as well. You all will need someone to go to the hall with," Snape says, looking at all of us."All of you, stand and find a partner to dance with." He instructs we all stand up. I stood there not knowing who to pick.
Someone pulls me in by my waist and turns me around, "may I have this dance?" Draco asks.
"Of course." I smile. He puts his hand on my waist, and his other hand holds mine. I place my free hand on his chest.
We glide across the dance floor, he twirls me around then pulls me back close. I stare into his beautiful ice blue eyes. As we danced, eyes fell on us.
Dancing with Draco Malfoy felt like dancing with the devil.
I could care less, maybe I do like Draco. I've never felt this safe and secure with someone, he makes me feel whole, loved. The music stops and we all stop dancing, Draco goes to say something but pursed his lips.
It was time for our classes, so we all flood out into the halls.

There was only one day remaining until the ball, I still had no date. Cedric is going with his girlfriend Cho, Ulric is bringing some girl from Gryffindor, and Ryia is going with a Ravenclaw. My friends made me feel hella single.
Maybe Draco would like to go with me? I stand up from the table in the great hall and leave. Draco had left only moments ago.
As I'm about to turn the corner I hear his voice, along with Pansy.
"So will you go to the dance with me?" Pansy asked, not in her normal bimbo voice. It sounded genuine.
"Sure, why not?" I hear Draco respond, I felt my heart drop. I hear Pansy squeal and I peek around the corner, she was hugging him.
He didn't seem disgusted to annoyed at all, he smiled and hugged her back. I pressed my back against the wall in shock.
As I turn my heal, I make my way to the astronomy tower. I had started crying but luckily everyone else was in the great hall.
I sit down on the ledge as Draco and I all those weeks ago, "Y/n?" I hear a familiar voice ask, it was Travis.
As I wipe my tears, he sits next to me.
"Ew, why are you crying?" He says, giving me a look.
"How kind of you," I say sarcastically, my nose still pink, "why does it matter to you? You've bullied me for years and suddenly you care?"
"Well I don't know, you helped me out the other day, you're in the same house as me, I feel like we can be civil now." He shrugged, his pale skin made his eyes pop even more.
"It's Draco I guess. I know it sounds super stupid but, he's going to the dance with Pansy and he doesn't seem disgusted by it."
Travis' face fell, "Pansy? I was going to ask her..." he says, now looking down in disappointment.
"I guess we both shouldn't have waited until the last minute." I sigh, he perks up.
"Why don't we go together to make them jealous? Hopefully, they will split up, I could go talk with Pansy, and you could talk with Draco." He says with a sly smirk.
I shake my head, "Pansy is too clingy for that, Draco would be our best shot. He gets jealous easily."
I pursed my lips together, then let out a sigh, "I don't get it, he had told me I was the girl he was interested in, yet he does this? How does that make any sense?"
