Almost a week had passed since [Name] and Dio first moved in with the Joestars. The prior was working hard to do her part by tutoring Jonathan and helping around the house. It proved useful when George happily approved of Jonathan's ever improving academic skills. Naturally, [Name] also quickly grew close to the family and the manor's residents.

"Oh, [Name]. Jojo is going to a boys' boxing ring in the fields, would you mind joining him and make sure nothing gets out of hand?" George spotted the girl and offered her an option to accompany Jonathan- she gladly accepted.

Had the original story fallen back on track? If so, she had business to settle at that ring.

"Of course, George! I'd be glad to. Are we leaving soon?"

"And the next challenger... Jonathan Joestar!" cheering echoed around the field as the announcer introduced Jonathan and his opponent. "He'll be facing off against our champion, Mark Watkins!"

Slight mummers filled the area as 'Mark Watkins' was yet to enter the ring.

"Oh?... Quiet down everyone! A new friend has asked to fight in place of our champion. This young man has just arrived in town, and we know only his name... perhaps this match will be a good way to get to know him!" there was a pause before the announcer continued. "Allow me to introduce... Dio Brando!"

The cheering started once again as Jonathan accepted the challenge and the announcer stood between the two. "Listen, Dio. Boxing is no mere child's game! Are you ready to gamble on your face?" The blonde smiled and dropped a large sum of money into the outstretched hat. [Name] sneered at the amount of coins Dio was so eager to part with, and the confidence he brought with him into the ring.

"What will you do, Jojo? Will you accept this wager?"

Jonathan paused and thought to himself, before replying, "Alright, let's do it!"

[Name] grumbled as she shifted through the crowd to reach the edge of the boxing ring, just as the announcer finished stating the rules of the game. "And... start!"

The crowd of boys cheered and chanted, "Get him Jojo!" "Show that newcomer who's boss!" [Name] sighed and let out a frown, leaning on a nearby rail in thought.

Jonathan started the match off by throwing a punch at Dio, which the latter easily dodged. He continued, throwing a set of repeated hits, missing yet again and again. He was good, [Name] noted, but he didn't seem to have experience with actual fights outside a monitored rink. Placing Jonathan and Dio against each other was like forcing a cat raised in captivity to fight a lion from the savannas. In other words, completely unfair.

Each and every person at the rink had their own thoughts flying through their heads at that moment. Many voiced them, and [Name] heard shouts of surprise, and in admiration for Dio's trained movements.

'What's happening? I can't hit him!'

'Jojo... his punches are a lot better than I expected... but that doesn't matter!"

Dio landed a punch on Jonathan's gut, knocking the brunette back and causing him to stumble.

'I'll hit your body to stun you... and then give you a taste of the boxing I learned in the slums! Take this, Jojo!'

Dio's hit landed square in Jonathan's face, stunning the brunette once again. The fight was done.

"There it is! Jojo loses! It's Dio's win!"

Dio smirked to himself, knowing he wasn't finshed yet. 'I'm the winner, but don't relax... I'm not through with you yet, Jojo! I'll drive my thumb right through your eye!'
