It wasn't long before the two arrived the said ice cream shop. The place wasn't that far, it was a seven minute walk from the school and it wasn't their first time at all. Cindy and her brother often go to shop after school as a snack place.
It wasn't a big place, it was small yet it had a simple, homey feel to it and the ice cream they served was absolutely delicious even if it was just a plain vanilla flavor. Something about it was just so scrumptious
"My treat, 'kay?" Jun informed Cindy as they walked towards the cashier.
"What? No, let me pay. Don't spend money on me." Cindy instantly argued back, not liking the thought of him spending money on her. "Save it."
"Noona, it's fine. Come on, it's just one time." Jun said in assurance, smiling at how generous and kind his sister was. He knew how caring Cindy was when it came to him.
Just as she opened her mouth to argue, the cashier had intervened. "Ah, my two regulars! Good day, what can I get for the two of you?"
"Hi, miss." Jun greeted with a smile in return before saying his order. "I'll have a medium salted caramel ice cream."
"And what about you, honey?" The young woman turned to face Cindy next as she punched in her younger brother's order.
