'Don't let it be me!' Kuwabara silently prayed, getting all nervous.

Ruby just stared at the bouncing and rolling cubes before each stopped at one name.

'Yes!' Kurama exclaimed to himself.

'Yes!' Kuwabara said in relief.

'Damn.' Hiei cursed angrily.

"After rolling the dice, both fighters are in place for the third match of the Semi-Finals!" Juri announced it. "Now fighting for Team Urameshi: Kurama; and for Team Uraotogi: Ura Urashima!"

I just keep on staring at my friend's enemy with my eyes narrowed at him. No matter how human he looks, his aura tells me a completely different story.

"By the authority of the Tournament Committee let the third match begin!" Juri gave the signal. Ura began to create circles with his fishing road in the air while Kurama did the same with his Rose whip.

"It looks like this match is going to be a duel of clashing weapons." Koto concluded from her perspective. "With Ura Urashima twirling his fishing road, and Kurama whirling his trademark rose whip. This one is going to be all about skills." The sparring started with Ura by giving the first hit. The redhead teen deflected it with his rose whip then from then on the two just threw attacks at each other while running around the ring. Spark after another at each assault, but none of them managed to hit the other. But something felt off about this whole weapon duel.

"Woah, this is a fight." I hear Kuwabara comment beside me in awe.

"Hmpf, Kurama needs to stop fooling around and start fighting for real." Hiei's statement made me turn to him intriguingly. So I wasn't the only one who noticed it.

"What? He's whip-swinging like a maniac." Kuwabara pointed out.

"Have you not learned anything?" The Fire Demon asked with sarcasm dripping from his tone. However, Kazuma still didn't catch on.

"He and Miyuki are alike." I began to explain. "They never create a strategy until they understand the opponent fully." After that, my gaze went back to Kurama. However, from the corner of my eye, I see something flash around the ring. Once more I squeezed my eyes tight and look at the edge of the ring.

It was like a force field created itself around the fighting area, giving no chance to escape. My heart dropped into my stomach and turned to my teammate in worry.

'He didn't notice it!' I concluded when I see that Kurama was focused more on his opponent, who so far didn't seem to even try to win this duel with his weapon. Just then Ura stopped with his attack, giving my friend an open opportunity to strike. . . . on purpose. . .
