I felt footsteps behind me, followed by the person sitting next to me
Dad
"She left" I said defeated
He warned me about this but I put a deaf ear to it and I was facing the consequences
I didn't mind if he said that famous sentence when you were warned but never listened to my face, the I told you so sentence
But that's not what I heard from him when he opened his mouth, instead he said
"Find her and tell her what you want to say, go and get her back"
"I'm leaving for Australia tomorrow dad"
He sighed
"I don't know what to do"
"I'll handle it"
I jerked my head up and looked at him 
"This is more important than opening that school of yours, go and get her" he smiled
I had never been a good son to my father, I disrespected him on several occasions and talked to him rudely
But here he was helping me with the biggest problem I've ever had 
Pulling me out of my dilemma between work and Jenny
I was about to get up when he started speaking again
"She wasn't just a maid you know, she's the daughter of Alnod Tony, a student at ABU, lives in Merlin Street, 22 years of age" he looked at me "I did a background check, I hope this information helps you know where to start but I won't help you find her of she doesn't want to be found" he got up
My eyes widened in shock

That explained the expensive phone, expensive cologne, her fair skin
"I see her leaving hasnt only affected you" he said
I looked up to see Patrick in the same position she left her
"I'll go talk to him" Father said as he got up and descended down the steps
I sighed
Tony
He was the biggest customer in my construction company
I knew he had a daughter but never saw her because of how protective he was of her as rumours say
I've fallen for his daughter and hurt her, now I had to go to his home searching for her
This was going to be the most difficult situation ever, Tony wasn't one to play games with when it came to his family I assure you that
I got up
I had to go get her

Following the SUV was impossible as it was long gone
I couldn't think straight and was desperate to find her, I was zoning out every five seconds putting myself at a disadvantage since I was driving
I couldn't focus so I thought of going home and leave to her father's the next morning

I was in the underground parking lot of TONY's headquarters in my car, my hands on the steering wheel while I leaned my head there thinking of how I'd start the conversation with the old man
He's never mentioned about having a daughter and now I was going there asking about her
I sighed for the hundredieth time today
I got out of the car and walked to the elevator
I went straight to the 25th floor where his office was 
I started walking to his office when a woman stopped me
"Do you have an appointment Mr Knight?"
"I don't have to" I looked at her and chuckled before continuing my journey
"But sir!" She quickly followed me "Sir he asked me to tell him who's coming before entering his office please wait" her voice sounded scared
I stopped to look down at her annoyance surfacing 
"What's stopping you?" I frowned
She widened her eyes at my actions as she ran back to her desk and I continued walking to Mr Tony's office
I knocked immediately I got there something I've never done in my 25 years of life
Jenny was making me do things I never thought I'd do but I had and would do it if it meant meeting her again
I heard a faint come in and I did, I had no time to look around his office or sit, I stood in the middle of his office looking at him
He stood by the glass wall his back to me
"Good morning Nathan" he said as he turned around "surprise visit everything fine with the construction work?" He said as he walked to his chair behind his mahogany table and sat
"I'm not here for business MrTony" 
"Oh" he frowned "please sit" he nodded his head to the two chairs in front of me
I was nervous to start this conversation, for all the times we came face to face this was the first time I didn't have the confidence to speak or start a conversation but eventually I would speak so I wasted no time
I sat down and looked at him
"I wanted to talk to your daughter" I said not beating round the bush 
His face hardened as soon as I finished the sentence
"What about her" he leaned to his chair 
What was I to say to him, that I hurt her because I was being cautious but I didn't mean it so I wanted to apologise?
He doesn't look like the kind to give her daughter away just like that by the looks of things, his demeanor just changed at the mention of his daughter
"I need to talk to her urgently"
"Did something happen while she stayed at yours?" He narrowed his eyes at me
"Yeah" I honestly answered "I really really have to talk to her"
"Are you the reason she looks horrible in my house right now?" He frowned anger in his voice
I nodded ashamed
"She hasn't left her room since she came back, are you happy now that you've ruined her?" He asked dangerously calm
"It's all a misunderstanding Tony it's important I talk to her-"
"I can't let you, I suggest you leave her alone and this office right now"
"Please"
He shook his head and started typing on his laptop
He dismissed me, nobody has ever done that to me, nobody has ever had the gutts to 
I wasn't angry with his actions
He was only protecting his daughter, I get it
I exited his office defeated but thinking of ways of how I'd get to her
