Morgan finally returns home after a couple more long months of touring. As soon as he steps foot in the house, he immediately goes to take a shower, smirking to himself when he hears the water running already. He slowly opens the door and strips off his clothes then joins Dani. She gasps quietly as a hand wraps around her hip. She recognizes it and spins to throw her arms around his neck. "When did you get home?"

"Few minutes ago." He responds, leaning down to kiss his wife for the first time in months. "Sorry if I scared ya." She hums as she pulls him closer, her head against his chest. A smile creeps on his face while he strokes the wet mess of her hair, so glad to finally be back where he belongs. The couple stands under the hot water, just holding each other.

"We gotta get out. Johnny has been asleep for the last half hour, gotta get him up and get him some supper." She leans over to shut the water off, sighing as she wraps her towel around herself. "C'mon, he'll be excited to see his daddy." Morgan smiles, using a hand towel to dry his hair. "Y'know, we have towels in the linen closet-"

"This works just fine, baby." He winks, tugging a clean one off the towel rod. "I'll get 'em and we'll meetcha in the kitchen."

Dani smiles as she pulls on an oversized yellow t-shirt with her husbands face and name on it along with a pair of short Soffe shorts. She tosses her hair over her shoulder before heading to the kitchen to throw together some meal for her boys. She smiles when she hears a soft squealing laugh coming from Johnny's room. Her favorite boys join her in the kitchen, Dani grins at Morgan as he sits Johnny in his chair. "I got him some yogurt with granola and berries and I made us some fried catfish sandwiches with green beans and mashed potatoes."

Morgan lets out a moan as he sits next to his son, a hand on his belly. "Man, I missed your meals baby."

She blushes and rolls her eyes. "Here you boys go." Dani slides a plastic bowl in front of her son and a full plate in front of her husband before sitting on the other side of their boy.

"I missed y'all so much." Morgan smiles as he looks at his plate. "And I missed your cookin'."

"What did you guys eat on tour?"

"A lot of frozen food and take out and cereal." He mumbles around a bite before letting out a moan. "Man, I missed your cookin'."

"We missed having you 'round." She says as she wipes Johnny's mouth. "Your momma invited us to their house for the whole weekend."

"When did she do that? She never said anythin to me."

"She called me last week or somethin. She didn't want to bother you when you were on tour." Dani says as she stands, taking the now empty dishes to the sink. She turns and wraps up left over food to stick in the fridge before returning to wash the dirty dishes. "Four hours is a long drive with a baby."

"We'll have to make stops then, right? That's a good thing to do?" Morgan shrugs from his spot at the table. "We'll have to take the Bronco, backseat for the carrier."

"I gotta clean it up then, shit." She rubs her face. "It's this weekend." Morgan sighs as he stands, picking his son up to set on his hip, his free hand squeezing Dani's shoulder. "I can pack if you wanna watch him."

"Sure. I can do that. How hard can it be?" Dani chuckles as she kisses his cheek. He's been gone for months so he doesn't know the routine. "What?"

"He has toys in the living room. There's, uh, Blue's Clues queued up for him and I have some juice in the fridge-"

"Sometimes, I think you forget I'm his daddy." Morgan says as he snags the bottle of juice, kissing Dani on the lips before disappearing into the living room. She laughs when she hears a small yelp from her husband, Johnny probably got his tiny hands on his long hair.
