Ashley waited, and waited, and waited. It took a while, but one fateful day....
"ASHLEY!!!! SOMETHING CAME IN THE MAIL!"
Ashley raced out of her room, and to the door. Erin stood in the doorway, holding a box.
"What's this?"
Erin shrugged. Ashley took the box, it was incredibly heavy.
"Whoa." She put it on the table.
"Where's your mom," she asked.
"She went to work while you took a nap."
Ashley blinked. She had fallen asleep? Without a nightmare?
She shoved the thought and opened the box. Inside was a multitude of items, and on top, a stack of letters. Ashley took a purple envelope from the top of the mess. It had her name, and in the corner, was the Arts Studios' address.
She ripped it open and read it over.
Ashley Sanderson, this is Toby Marlow. Lucy sent the email, so I sent this. And we are so happy to hear that you're willing to join us! We have your tickets, you may bring one guest, and a SiX Premium Card which grants you access to every SiX show, regardless of location or time. The plane will depart on XX/XX/XXXX, and two out of the six Queens will pick you up from the airport. We can't wait to see you!
Sincerely, Toby Marlow.
P. S. Your Heart of Stone was so heartbreaking. We all love the emotion you put into it and we hope you will for all of your performances.
Ashley looked back at the envelope and saw two tickets. Ashley took one and handed it to Erin.
"One ticket for you," she said, handing it over.
"And one for me."
Erin read the date on the ticket. "Huh. Four days from now."
Ashley read her ticket. "Yeah. We should really tell your mom about this."
Erin nodded. "What's all this for," she asked, gesturing to the rest of the box. Ashley shrugged.
"I'm not sure. Let's check."
She grabbed the box and sat down on one of the arm chairs. She grabbed a wrapped present, one of the many, and read the letter that came with it.
Dear Ashley, it read, This is for you. My name is Grace Mouat, one of the alternates of SiX. I can't wait to see you! I saw your Heart of Stone video, along with the rest of the Queens, and I can't believe I'm going to be working with such a talented person. My gift is small, but nice. Hope you like it!
~Grace.
Ashley ripped off the wrapping paper and found a journal inside. She laughed at it's purple color, and was marveled by how many pages it had.
"Thanks, Grace," she said softly.
Moving on to the next one, she found a small box with the name Courtney on it. She found the letter with the same person's name on it, and read.
