"I still can't believe I have to do this." Marinette mutters, shoving her clothes from the wardrobe into a bag to make easier travel up the stairs.

She had been cleaning out her room for Lila to live in it. Her mother and her new father had been setting up the attic for her, and while it's the most beautiful room she has ever seen, it was more of the fact that she had to give her room to Lila.

With a huff, the bluenette shut her bag and dragged it out the room with a final glance at the empty now pastel orange walls. A soft sigh was let out as she dragged herself up the stairwell to her room. Her mother and step-father had spent the past day helping her set up the room. It was definitely more spacious then the room before. Her bed was on a loft and a large l-shaped desk sat underneath with three mannequins and a giant shelf of sewing supplies. To the corner, near the window, there was a long pink chaise that sat underneath a pink parasol. A tall, white mirror stood behind, reflecting her image back at her. To the side of the chaise, there was a large, empty wardrobe that was clean and pristine for her gowns and clothes.

"Well, I might as well start unpacking and finish setting up my room." Marinette murmured, throwing the case onto the chaise and began unpacking.

She hung all her gorgeous, self-made gowns on the several hooks inside the wardrobe and folded any nightgowns and casual sundresses into their right drawers. After finishing, she stood up to wipe the sweat dripping from her brow and stared at her work with a satisfied smile.

"All cleaned and neat." She says to herself with a sense of pride.

With a tired but happy sigh, she dropped onto the chaise but yelped as she jumped back up.

"What on heaven's name?" She murmurs, rubbing her behind as she looked at what uncomfortable thing she had sat on.

On the chaise, was a simple black jewelry box with mysterious Chinese symbols in red imprinted at the top. Curiously, Marinette picked it up and examined each side of it, wondering if she should open it or hand it to her parents.

"I might bump into Lila and she might take it for herself, and I rather not." Marinette murmured to herself as she held the box in her lap.

"It wouldn't hurt." She shrugged, making her final decision.

She lifted a hand above the box and opened it to reveal a blinding pink and red light that swirled out of the box and floated up. With a soft yelp, Marinette dropped the box and scooted back to the desk, closing her eyes from the light.

Soon, the light faded away and she looked back up to see a small red creature with black spots over it. The creature seemed to have resembled a ladybug of some sort.

"What are you? A mouse! A bug?! A bug-mouse?!" Marinette freaked out.

"No, Marinette Dupain-Cheng, I- Eeek!" The creature screamed, dodging a pillow.

"Marinette! Don't do that!" The creature called, dodging pillows.

"You talk! And fly!" Marinette panicked, continuing to throw pillows until she was out of them.

"I won't hurt you, Marinette. I just need to talk to you!" The creature says calmly, floating to her.

"What are you?" Marinette questioned.

"I am Tikki, a Kwami. A Kwami of Creation to be exact. And you have been chosen to be a heroine for Parisia alongside your partner!" Tikki exclaimed, excitedly.

"Heroine? I'm sorry, but you must have the wrong person, I'm no heroine." Marinette says quietly, scooting away.

"I've seen it Marinette! You are strong and brave and the Guardian have chosen you!" Tikki cheered.

The blue-eyed girl just stares at the Kwami in disbelief.

Brave? That was the last thing she would title herself. Cowardly or even selfish sounded more likely.

Tikki just nods to her and points to the earrings still in the box.

"Try them on! Use the words, Tikki spots on, to activate your powers!" Tikki encouraged.

"Alright, fine." Marinette said with a nervous sigh as she crawled over to the box and pinned the earrings in.

With a deep inhale, she shook off her nerves and stared at the encouraging Kwami.

"Tikki! Spots on!" She called, immediately she was surrounded by a pink light and her clothes changed into a blood red dress with black dots that reached her knees. A laced line corset wrapped her torso and tightened to accentuate her tiny waist. She wore gloves on her hands that reached to her elbows and black knee-high boots. A fan appeared on her belt, lying just underneath her waist. Her midnight black hair was pulled into a braided-crown bun. A silk-lined red mask with black spots covered over her eyes and the edges around it.

"Whoa..this is gorgeous!" She murmurs to herself, taking a look at herself.

"How do I use this..?" She questions, pulling out the fan.

Marinette flashed the fan out wide and stared at the beautiful imprints of colour on the fan. As she examines it, her finger slipped onto a small latch, which pulled it down, revealing a beautiful red laced parasol.

"This is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.." Marinette murmurs, tracing her fingers down the parasol and to the grip.

I guess I need to figure out how to use this, she thought.

The bluenette glances to the trapdoor that led to the balcony, her way out. Marinette pulled herself up the ladder to the top and climbed out, taking in the heated sun above her.

The blue-eyed girl looks to her parasol and opens it. The laced parasol opens out and tiny written carvings appeared in the handle.

Your power is called Lucky Charm, a one time usage per transformation. You have increased flexibility, strength, speed, and stamina.

"Let's try it out then!" She says to herself as she took a deep breath.
