Again. Another student, gone. No one had even noticed this time until the next day when they got together for their bonding time and there were short one more. His room was empty, game abandoned from whenever he had disappeared. Momo was a wreck when she realized she was most likely the last of them to see him alive, and holed herself up in her dorm room for weeks.
Unlike before, they still couldn't find any trace of Sero. This sparked a small hope amongst the students that maybe the kidnapper hadn't killed Sero yet. Maybe they could save him this time. The students were finally allowed to leave their dorms, but only to give statements and attend classes. The exception to this rule was training. Currently, they were on the bus heading for a training site not too far off campus. They rode silently, many trying to pointedly ignore the bare seats that belonged to former classmates. Aizawa kept his eyes ahead, trying not to let the silence of his once lively classmates get to him. It was wrong. It was weing for these teenagers to be reduced to this silent fear and grief. Many students, even ones outside of 1-A had started to wonder if they were next. Security increased and more heroes patrolled the campus, but none of that could lift the feelings sitting hard and heavy in their hearts.
When they arrived at their destination, the students silently unboarded. Time passed by in a blur, they trained, rested, trained, and soon they were washing up. The training camp they had picked out was small and quiet, and did nothing to settle the students nerves.
Jirou was drying her hair quietly in the shared girls washroom, listening to the conversation they had managed to start up while bathing.

"Do you really think that Bakugou's friends are being targeted?"

"Well, they're the only ones who have been..uhm...taken, so it's a possible explanation."

"But why? Who could they have upset so bad that this happens?"

"Maybe they're not just after them...what if the person is after all of us?" Ochako's comment was followed with a fearful silence, which was broken by her silent apology. Hagakure cleared her throat after a moment, nervously stumbling over her words, the movement of her body towel suggesting her was looking between all of them.

"L-Let's not think like this! Even if something deeper is going on, we can trust the heroes to protect us! R-Right?.." Jirou couldn't stop herself from snarking back.

"Tell that to Denki," Her cold words were met with shocked stares. Protect them? Ha! That's what they vowed to do from the very beginning, and look how great that did for her friends. "You really think they can do anything? This guy has taken students from U.A, the most prestigious, and the most guarded school in the country NUMEROUS TIMES. Where were the heroes then? Why are they only just NOW coming to protect us! Denki, Mina, Hanta, they needed heroes and they weren't there!" She was panting by the end of her rant, but she didn't care. The looks on her classmates faces showed she got her point across.
Mostly. Momo was biting her lip still, unsure. She hesitantly spoke up. "We shouldn't give up on the heroes so quickly...perhaps they just need more time.." Her argument fell of deaf ears, Jirou having already closed the door behind her on her way out. Ha, trust heroes. The only reason she was still here was because she was determined to be better. She'd show the world what a real hero did, not what this pansy, fake cowards in fancy suits did. Which was nothing. They hadn't even done much investigation until Mina. Just marked the case as cold and abandoned it before Denki's parents had even come to the station. She'd trust heroes again the day they proved themselves. Today was not that day.
