I looked down at my nails noticing they weren't even done as I scoffed going through my purse.
I had like 80 dollars but that wasn't enough for nails and toes.
They left me home alone which was stupid so I went into their room and found a Prada bag as I Rummaged through it finding 400 dollars.
"Bingo" I said to myself as I heard the front door opening making me throw her bag back and hurry out as I grabbed my purse walking to the front door.
"Where you going? " Kalen asked.
"Out" I said heading out the door and getting in my car going to the nail shop.
I went to my usual lady.
"Hey key" I said coming in the door and giving her a hug as a bunch of people talked. It was super crowded today.
"Hey girl...you pregnant" she said looking at my belly.
"Yuppp, I'm getting big I know" I said taking a seat in the spa chair.
"Congrats! Boy or girl? And are you with the baby father" she said being nosy.
"It's a girl and yes I'm with the baby father we're getting married soon" I said smiling.
"Aw congrats girl your life is going good I see" she nodded.
"Yeah it sure is" I said smiling as I opened up my phone.
"Texting him now" she said scrubbing my feet.
"Yeah, he just gave me like 400 dollars to spend on pampering myself he truly is the best" I said lying out my teeth.
"Girl he got a friend" she said as I busted out laughing and put my head back.
NAOMI POV
I finished fixing amari food as I put her pasta on the table.
"Mar bear go eat" I said giving her a kiss as she ran off to the table with Kalen.
I went in my closet to get some lotion for my hands but noticed my Prada bag face down on the floor.
This made me automatically think some fucked up things so I went to grab it and noticed 400 dollars gone along with my credit card.
"Bruh what the fuck" I said screaming running out of the room.
"Kalen that bitch stole my money and shit" I said grabbing my phone getting ready to call the card company to freeze my card.
Kalen got up from the table "wym?" He asked.
"What do you mean what do I mean? She stole all my damn money this is exactly why" I said laughing as I walked off.
"Hi yes, can you please freeze my Visa card someone stole it" I said into the phone.
"Ok ma'am , the PIN number?" She said as I rummaged through some stuff trying to find it. Once I told her I hung up and started packing a bag.
"Yo Naomi what are you doing" Kalen said standing at the door.
"I told you Kalen I didn't want her here and she stole my shit, my shit I worked for" I said shaking my head.
"I can replace it naomi" he said.
"I can replace my own damn self it's not about that it's the principle... she's a sneak derranged bitch and me and my daughter aren't here for it so you can have your big happy family with her cause I'm done" I said shaking my head as I brushed past him going into maris room as she ran in there.
"We leave mommy?" She said starting to cry.
"Stop crying amari I'm not playing it's not that serious" I said grabbing her bag and stuffing some clothes in it.
"Me dont wanna leave" she said running away.
"Mari oh my goodness-" I said but Kalen cut me off by grabbing my bag.
"Let the fuck go" I said snatchin it back.
I heard the door open making me run to the front door as Kalen ran after me starting to come to.
I tied my hair up quickly running up on that bitch as she fell to the ground and I dragged her across the floor, hitting her in the face.
"Bitch I'm pregnant what are you doing" she said making me let go.
"Damn bitch I have no regrets but I forgot your ass was pregnant" I said getting myself together.
"Kalen get her" she said shedding some fake ass tears.
"Naomi you can't do that that's my damn daughter" he said raising his voice as amari started to cry and he picked her up making me grab her.
"Don't touch my damn daughter Kalen, right here I'm telling you cause I deserve so much more, me or her?" I said. I hated to do this but I deserved a carefree life.
"That's like asking me to pick between me and my daughter Naomi that's not fair" he said sucking his teeth.
"Alright then I got my answer, let's go Mari" I said as she ran to me and I grabbed our bags
"I'll be back for my shit tomorrow" I said slamming the door.
As soon as I got in the car I broke down crying driving to my baby daddy house. I got out ringing on the doorbell.
"Yo- Naomi you good?" He said noticing my tear stains.
"I just need you to take her for the night some shit happened and I don't want her around me right now" I said wiping my tears.
"Ok I'll take her go play, you wanna come in" he asked.
The reason me and him broke up was only cause he couldn't provide for me and the baby.
"No I shouldn't for real, I'm vulnerable right now and I don't need any mishaps" I said laughing as he laughed too.
"Just stay here overnight I promise no funny business, you can take my room I'll lay on the couch and Mari can lay with you, I promise" he said holding out his pinky as I stepped him embracing him in a much needed hug as I sighed.
Amari came and joined in the hug making us laugh.
I had a lot to think about...

This has officially turned into the Naomi cause yeah.
Btw y'all might think ocean is just super crazy but she has a background story so it's basically mental illness but we'll get into that later:)
