It's true that we're both injured. A wound on Hyunsu's cheek and a large gash on my leg.

I looked at Hyunsu's cheek earlier and it was close to healing already.

Hyunsu and I put a hand on our wounds to cover it.

"No, we're fine." Hyunsu timidly asked. He's acting nonchalant regarding his hand on his cheek but the girl stood her ground.

"Move that hand on your face and the one on your leg. It'll get infected if you don't treat it." she instructed.

Infected?

Ha...

Funny word.

Infected.

"We'll just do it ourselves. You can give us some banda-"

Crossbow.

There's a fucking crossbow pointed at my face.

I couldn't even finish my sentence.

Hyunsu suddenly became tense behind me. I felt his hand tug on my shirt.

"Move your hands." the old man commanded with the crossbow still raised.

The girl looked at him with raised eyebrows.

"You're both turning, aren't you." he questioned.

I didn't dare to look at him because the only thing that's I can literally see is the arrow about to shoot my face.

Hyunsu didn't say anything and neither did I, because I might get punctured in the eye if I try to utter one word.

My hand pressed on to my wound, expecting to feel sliced skin but there's barely any wound at all.

"Yuri, get away from her." the old man told the girl and the girl let go of my arm immediately.

"Put those hands away! Or else I'll make sure your hearts never beat again." he threatened. His eyes on Hyunsu's.

The girl looked at me then to my hand that's covering my wound.

The old man nudged me on my arm with the crossbow and with no choice left, I removed my hand, Hyunsu following my actions.

I looked at my leg and saw the wound close by itself leaving nothing, not even a scar, just blood.

I heard the girl softly gasp and step away from us.

My head faced the ground, not wanting to see the way they look at us but it's inevitable.

Everyone would look at us differently.

"Get out. Now. I wouldn't have helped you if I knew you were a monster." he harshly told us but I don't blame him.

"Get out!" he repeated, louder.

I felt Hyunsu move behind me then another tug on my shirt.

"Let's go." he said to me then grabbed my arm and guided me to the door.

I looked at his hand and saw that he's also carrying my bag and my weapon.

I took those from him and slung it on my shoulders while I put my weapon on my neck.

Hyunsu was at the door when I turned to look at the old man and the girl named Yuri.

"Thank you." I simply said to them and turned back.

But before we could even open the door, we heard a loud laugh emit from the old man.

"You have such a bad hobby." Yuri commented.
