"this is an alert system, if you ever need me fast, just hit the button, and I'll be there, okay?" Patton asked, lifting your chin a little, staring into your eyes as you nodded. reaching your arms out to ask for a hug as Patton happily hugged you, taking you to the bed to cuddle. both of you falling asleep...
it was a nightmarish sleep for you, as images flashed into your head, and people's voices screamed out, Patton screaming and yelling at you. a dark time, before you understood. you remember writing, tears staining the small journal you kept with the endless hours alone.
you woke up alone again, the door open and Patton leaving the meal he wanted you to have on the nightstand, his usual note, everything calm as it usually was, as you laid in bed, enjoying the books Patton had gotten you, enjoying it much more than the basement. Patton was kind, you just needed to understand it.
it had been about two hours when you heard a strange noise. you breathing harder as you held the necklace, finger hovering over the button as you crept out of the room, pressing your back against the wall.
"excuse me? are you still here!!!" the voice of the boy from yesterday called out, as you sunk to your knees, hoping he'd leave, and not expecting the shout of someone, turning to see them pointing towards you.
"y/n, Y/n!" someone else called, somehow knowing your name as you smashed the button, over and over again, crying, wanting Patton to be there, to protect you from these intruders. he promised he'd protect you from this world.
you looked up, tears streaming down your face as you saw three men standing above you. one in a hoodie, looking at you in shock and pity, another with glasses who was pulling out his phone, ready to dial 911, and the third, the boy from yesterday.
"y/n y/l/n, we're here to save you." the one in glasses said, as he leaned down, causing you to crying, praying Patton was on his way.
"chill guys, they're scared." the one in the hoodie said, kneeling down, to look at you.
"I'm not going to hurt you." he said, bringing a hand slightly closer, before a voice cut him off.
"get away from them." Patton said angrily, all four of you cornered in the hall as you started crying harder, scared. Patton walking closer, you saw the other glasses wearing male hit dial on 911 only to have his call blocked. Patton stalking closer, a familiar tool in his hand.
with a few quick moves Patton easily knocks all the boy out, hesitating on Janus, before using the taser like device. you whimper as Patton turns to you, kneeling and asking if you were okay. with a nod, Patton hugs you.
"I'm sorry you had to see all that baby. I'll take care of them." Patton whispered, picking you up and setting you on the bed, kissing your cheek before walking out. Patton, in the hallway, standing over the unconscious bodies like an assassin, except their breathing keeping them alive.
Patton probably should've ended it right there, taking care of the witnesses, but the fear in his brothers eyes repeated in his head like a taunt as he sighed, carrying and tying up the bodies one by one in the basement. 4 people, but he couldn't do it.
after much comfort you and Patton slept, you tucked into his chest, his arms around you, you sleeping deeply as he thought about the people in the basement, he'd given them water bottles, but they were trapped, not dead, but never to roam free again. those being his last thoughts as he curled up and fell into a deep sleep as well.
the people in the basement woke up, Roman, Logan, Janus, and Virgil. all with headaches and chains. alone, in this dimly lit room, 8 waterbottles on top of a tiny table, concreate walls all around.
"great hammer of thor, where are we?" Roman asked, kneading his head.
"the basement..." Janus replied, curling himself up, as he stared at the walls, how he'd imagined it being a bro cave once upon a time. things certainly had changed. Virgil trying to steady his breathing as he took in the tight space and the chains keeping him to the wall. this was... not a typical Tuesday....Logan kneaded his head as well, you were a missing person, he was there to save you. and he failed.
with a grunt Logan tried to stand up, handing out the water bottles and shaking the table, discovering the tiny drawer inside. and the little, leather-bound notebook full of written pages inside.
this note in the front of the book, leaving an eerie feeling, as they all realized, they may never get out...
Help, if you find this, I'm y/n y/l/n, and I'm trapped by the scariest person I know...
