it was sunday evening, a day before school, and lily was just scrolling on her phone through tiktok. until there was a tap on lily's window and her head shot up. she was met with the face of an upside down peter parker.
"hey i could stop by really fast, but i just wanted to say hello," he smiled at lily and pulled lily into a kiss.
"omg not the upside down spiderman kiss," lily giggled and peters cheeks went pink.
"wanna go for a swing?" peter asked.
"but won't we get into trouble?" lily looks behind her at the door.
"maybe... i don't care, hold on let me put my ask on and my hair in a braid.
about five minutes later lily came back to the window and carefully crawled out.
"please don't drop me," lily cried.
"i won't, i promise," he said watching her so she was being safe. "okay grab my hand," he said holding his hand out for her to grab.
right when she grabbed it her arm went unsteady and he grabbed her.
she didn't fall but she was still scared because if he lost his grip she could die.
"please don't let go, please. wait. i'm a dumbass. i have teleportation powers. so when i fall i could just teleport," lily laughed out of realization.
"you don't want people to see you though," peter implied.
"yeah they won't though, i'm falling then teleporting no seeing my face.
"well i'm not gonna drop you sooo," peter trailed off and got a better grin of her arm.
"okay hold on," he whispered, holding her to his side.
he swung from one building to the next. lily looked around her to watch the sun setting and the buildings. it was beautiful being able to live like that. feeling free and alive. she loved the feeling.
"this is amazing!!" lily cheered.
"i know right," peter agreed and they kept going.
after about fifteen minutes of just going around queens they made it back to the tower.
"that was so fun thank you," lilt thanked peter.
"i'm glad you liked it," peter hugged her and they said their goodbyes.
after dinner lily was sitting on the couch almost finished with will grayson will grayson.
"huh, mysterious girl seen with spiderman while he is swinging around the city," tony read out loud. "any idea who that mystery girl could be?" tony eyed her.
"live to see that the paparazzi was there," likely attempted a joke.
"please don't make it a regular thing, or people are gonna find out who peter is and who you are, and you said yourself you. do. not. want. that," tony sarcasticly said the last part.
"thanks for quoting me dad," she kissed him on the cheek and walked into her room turning on brooklyn nine-nine.
