Chiyo POV
                          
I'm done with this damn snake, I need my speed to make up for my lack of sight right now. "Release!!" Purple lines begin to glow all over my body, but just as fast as they appear they disapper. I chuckle a little feeling my body feel lighter, it's been awhile since I've released my Four limb weighting seal. I blink a couple times making out the blurry blobs of my team mates glance at my worried team mates, "You three get back to back and don't try to help me, you'll just get in my way and get hurt in the process."
                          
Naruto was about to protest but as much as I like the knucklehead I give him my hardest glare, "I mean it Naruto." Orochimaru chuckles, "Those where complicated seals, not to mention how you managed to actually put them on you're body. You really are there child and will make a wonderful host." I turn my attention full back to him, "I will have you're life before you have my body." Before he can say another I appear in front of him, a grin appears on my face at his faces morphs into shock. He barley dodges my slash coming down on his head, but I don't give him room to breath. "Water style: Water Bullet technique." 
                          
It grazes his skin and he blocks my blade from slicing threw his shoulder with a kunai. He looks at me kind of pissed but pleased, "The rumors about you're speed are true, you may prove to be a challenge in Ninjutsu, so lets push you in Taijutsu." 
                          
His other hand grips my wrist tight forcing me to drop my katana, I hiss slightly jumping away. But just like me he isn't giving me much room to breath, and its a lot harder without my sight. "Kid let me channel my chakra in to you're eyes." I block a kick that was aimed at my face with my forearm, I can hear a slight crack. "Ill take all the help I can get Touma!" Whatever else was in that syringe he injected into me messed with all my sences and not my eyes. Feeling the warmth flow towards my eyes, my blurry vision clears. I can actually see better than normal. Orochimaru backs off and looks at me curiously, "You're eyes they resemble that of a dragon..." He licks his lips sending a shiver up my spin, I regret being able to see again. 
                          
"Kukukuku~ You're just full of surprises aren't you." I smirk back, "You haven't seen anything yet."
                          
Sakura Pov
                          
I watch in amazement as Chiyo fights that grass lady with a whole other level of power I didn't know she had. She really is amazing, "Sugoi Chiyo-chan is really strong, there just blurs I can't see anything!" I look over at Sasuke and see his hand clenched tight around his Kunai, he looks angry and frustrated but why? "Wind style: Great Breakthrough!" 
                          
Chiyo dodges the attack and it hits a tree instead cutting straight threw them, "Oi I thought you said Taijutsu you snake bastard!" She weaves signs way to fast for me to keep up with, " Wind style: Air Bullets!" They make a direct hit, before I could cry out in joy the body dissolves into a pile of mud. A huge wave of kunai and shuriken rain down on her fast and she dodges them all with little trouble. Appearing out the tree the grass nin kicks Chiyo in the stomach hard, and she goes tumbling back staying still on the ground. "Chiyo!!!" Before both Naruto and Sasuke jump down there wood shoots out wrapping around the lady Chiyo called Orochimaru. The Chiyo on the ground turns into wood and the real Chiyo comes in from above.
                          
"Fire style: Shatterforce jutsu!" A big explosion goes off and we all have to cover our faces, we could feel the heat from here. Chiyo stands panting a couple of branches away from us, I can see her rubbing her eyes from here my heart clenches at the sight. She must be in soo much pain right now and yet she's fighting to protect us. A laugh comes from the dying flame and there's a heavy pressure all around us, I collapse on my knee's.
                          
"The hell is this!" Naruto yells out in frustration. "So this is the offspring my teammates produce~" The voice changes to a deeper one with a hiss in this persons tone, and they walk out of the shadows. I gag a little at the sight but I feel a chill run up my spin as I see the yellow eyes. "Yes you will do nicely." Chiyo holds a kunai up obviously angry, "Why the hell won't you just hurry up and die damn it." I've never heard Chiyo sound so angry before its kind of scary, "My you even have her temper, just like Tsunade. But the heart of Jiraiya that wants to protect those you care for no matter the cost."
                          
"What the hell does Jiraiya have to do with me!" He holds up the Heaven scroll, "That is an answer that will have to be given at a different time when we meet again. But first you have to pass this test, along with you're teammates, the Uchiha runt would do nicely as well. First you will have to defeat the hidden sound ninja that serve me."
                          
"I have no idea what you're talking about but if you're finished why don't you just get out of here." I yell out and he chuckles, "It would be quiet rude for me to leave you power craving Uchiha friend without a gift~" Before the three of us can react his neck shoots forward right toward Sasuke, but at last minute Chiyo pushes him away. Tears immediately fall as he was bighting into her shoulder, "Chiyo!!" He moves back and Chiyo holds her shoulder in pain collapsing on her knees, Naruto turns angrily, "What the hell did you do to Chiyo." 
                          
He merrily smiles, "Just as I expected she would push her comrade out of the way. I just gave her a present seeing as I wasn't there when she was born and I'm old friends with her mother. I can say I enjoyed testing her powers for myself, I can't wait to see how she grows." He disappears into the tree just as Chiyo finally screams in pain, she was squeezing her eyes shut tears falling on down her cheeks. We all rush over to her, "Chiyo what did he do to you!" I notice the marks on her shoulder, and gasp slightly.
                          
I pull her upper body into my arms, "Hang on you're going to be okay." But I don't even trust the words coming out of my mouth as she lets out another painful cry. She barely manages to open one eyes, "W-we ne-ed s-shelter-!" 
                          
Her body goes limp, I look up at the boys who are just as shocked as me. "W-What do we do know?" Sasuke snaps out of it first, "We do as she said and fine shelter to lay her down so she can rest. Naruto go get her katana she'll be grumpy if she doesn't have it when she wakes up." Naruto stares at her for a moment, "You really thing she's going to be alright Sasuke." He picks her up from my arms and adjust her on his back, "She has to be, we aren't team 7 without her."
                          
We manage to fine a hollow tree and I change the rag I placed on her head, "How is she Sakura?" Naruto and Sasuke both enter, they where busy setting up traps. "She has a really bad fever, and her body keeps twitching. But her breathing is going back to normal. Naruto places the bowl of cool water next to me, "Don't worry Sakura there's nothing that can keep Chiyo down for to long. Kasumi would have her head!" I try to fine reassurance in his words but there's still doubt in my heart, "Will take turns taking watch, first me, then Naruto, then you Sakura got it." I nod and lay down next to Chiyo my pinky hooking with hers. Please Chiyo you have to be okay we need you.....I need you.
                          
(Timeskip morning)
                          
I shake my head trying to stay awake, it's morning already? I move closer to Chiyo and dip her rag in the cold water. At least her fever went down slightly, I look outside the entrance sighing quietly. Who knew the Chunin exams would take such a turn for the worst.
