Veronica just explained everything to Jughead. He seemed not mad but just hurt because he was not expecting to hear it from Veronica. "Betty wants to talk to you now", Veronica said as she stood up, ready to leave. 
                          
"You can go get her", Jughead answered. 
                          
"Don't get mad at her", she told him. 
                          
Jughead just nodded his head and kept staring in front of him. He was lost in his thoughts as he was thinking about what Veronica said, Betty thinks she's bothering him with her sickness and she's faking her climaxes during intimate moments because she don't want to disappoint him with the truth, that she is scared. 
                          
But then he was broken out of his thoughts when a blond girl carefully took the seat next to him on the bench outside the building. "I'm so sorry", she apologized. 
                          
"Don't apologize", he simply answered, "I should've known. I should've known that sex was too exhausting for you" 
                          
"When you say it like that it feels like I can't do anything anymore", Betty whispered. "Maybe I've come to my end", she added. 
                          
Jughead was surprised by her words and turned to her, "Don't say that Betty", he said. 
                          
"I just can feel it", she said. 
                          
"What do you feel?" He asked worried. 
                          
"That breathing becomes harder every day", she replied, like it was nothing important. 
                          
"Why didn't you tell me?" 
                          
"Because I don't want you to get involved in my problems" 
                          
"Betty if I didn't want to be involved I would've broken up with you, but remember I asked you to marry me" 
                          
Betty sighed and shook her head. "Jughead you and I both know that getting married is nonsense, you should marry someone else", Betty told him as she looked directly in his eyes. 
                          
"No I'm marrying you!" He stated. 
                          
"Jughead", Betty tried as she placed her hands on his face. 
                          
"You act like you want to be dead!" He said angry. 
                          
Betty started crying when she heard those words, "I just want to give you hope. I want you to be happy", she told him. 
                          
"You can't make me happy if you say I have to forget you and move on" 
                          
He removed her hands from his face and stood up before walking away angry. Betty broke down in tears immediately after he was out of her vision. She cried for a few more minutes until she started shivering because of the cold. 
                          
As she entered the room from the girls Veronica got mad because she knew Betty was crying because of something Jughead had said. "I'm killing that bitch", she hissed. 
                          
"H-he's not wo..worth it", Betty sobbed and went in the bathroom without saying anything more, she only slammed the door shut really hard. 
                          
The girls heard her crying and tried to get in but the door was locked. "Betty! Are you alright!" Veronica asked and knocked on the door a few times. 
                          
"Does it sound like I'm alright", Betty sarcastically yelled back. 
                          
"She's not alright but she's alright", Veronica nodded and went to lay on the bed, doing whatever she was doing before. 
                          
"What is that supposed to mean?" Toni asked confused. 
                          
Just then Betty walked back into the room and climbed into her bed straight under the duvet, facing the wall. Her cries had stopped so her friends thought she was asleep but she was not.
