Iruka and I talk well past the sunrise and it definitely helps to keep me distracted from my worries about Kakashi.

We turn our heads to the front door as we hear a key turn and the door open.

Asuma comes in looking majorly hung over and I immediately break out into a fit of giggles at the sight of him.

"Yeah, yeah. Good morning to you too." he grumbles, walking in with a drink holder full of more coffees.

I stand up on the couch cushion and put my hands out for another cup.

His eyes roll as he hands me the hot coffee and I sit back down.

He looks at the table with our empty cups and looks back at us.

"So I'm paying for you to get double coffee?" He complains as he sets the rest on the kitchen counter.

"Just save the other one for Naruto when he gets here." Iruka says purposefully to get his reaction.

Asuma walks over in front of the coffee table and nearly throws himself down on the rug.

He stares up at the ceiling, as he lays there on his back, spread across the floor, unmoving.

"Tell me you're joking." He mumbles.

I place my hand over my mouth to hide my giggle.

"He's not that bad." Iruka defends the blonde boy.

"He is when you stay up drinking tequila all night at some shitty bar only to spend the early hours of the morning arguing with your girlfriend instead of getting laid."

He takes a cigarette from the pack in his hand and lights it.

"Girlfriend?"

I emphasize the word so he knows he just admitted to being in a legit relationship with Emiko.

"Don't start." he snips at me.

I can't help the snort that comes out as my laughter escapes me. Iruka smirks next to me but doesn't say anything, trying not to antagonize him any further.

My stomach growls loudly.

"Who's turn is it to make the pancakes?" I ask.

"Kakashi's. And since he's not here, its only fitting that his girlfriend makes them."

Asuma doesn't have to turn his head to look at me to know that I'm glaring at him.

"Fine." I huff as I push myself up from off the couch.

As I walk into the kitchen, there's a knock at my door. Naruto must be here.

I walk over and unlock the door to see the spiky haired boy standing at my door holding a basket of muffins.

"Hey Narut-" I feel my eyes widen as I notice the girl standing shyly behind him.

I compose myself quickly before either of them notice.

"Hey Naruto! Hi Hinata! I'm glad you both came!" I open my door wider to invite them in.

Just as they walk in and I go to close the door behind them, a foot stops the door.

"The fuck-"

"You're just going to forget about me?" Sasuke says as he stands at my front door.

I look at him confused as to why the hell he's here.

"I hope its not a bother, but I invited Sasuke too!" Naruto tells me as the rude Uchiha pushes past me and into my apartment.

I roll my eyes at his lack of manners.
