Stacy's POV
Literally 2 days after Luke broke up with me. I can't believe it, I was his academic cheerleader and now he wants space from me? Like seriously.
I can't believe Luke told me such heartbreaking news, seconds away from when we were gonna write our test. I mean, it's worse I didn't get time to study, buy, being broken hearted before the test too? I think I have possibility failed! I thought as i was sitting in class, ready for the physics class.
"Good afternoon class", Mr Matthews walked in.  "I'm here with your physics papers, and yeah, this is your final mark which is on your report card. No negotiations please! Most of you, l was disappointed by your performances yet again! Okay so Barbara-29% Joshua, Brandon, Ethel...
Lucas-92, what's going on with you I know you can do better! Ah. And our highest is Stacy Saint-Clair with a 100 percent, Miss Saint Clair, keep this up and you just might be on your way to becoming Valedictorian", Mr Matthews spoke.
Valedictorian? I always thought that was more of Luke's thing-
"You got a hundred?" Luke eyed me?
"Yeah, apparently", I smiled looking at my paper.
"I thought you said you hadn't studied, he said.
"That's what I also thought but clearly, what I knew was enough to make me the highest", I smiled.
"Stacy... Did you cheat?" Luke asked.
"What... No"
"Can I see your paper?"
"Sure", I gave it to him.
After Class
Luke's POV
Okay, it's not that I'm not happy for Stacy or anything but, her getting a hundred in that physics test out of nowhere! I can't believe that. I mean, Stacy is an average student , not a student who gets distinctions. I decided to go and talk to Mr Matthews after the lesson.
"Sir there must be a mistake with my paper, you know me I'm the hundred percent student but here, there is a question you marked wrong...?"
"Which question?"
"Number 27"
"Oh, about the zeno effect, Lucas, you wrote that the zeno effect theory states that observation slows down reaction but that's incorrect, atoms wont change while you watch them. So rather observation holts reaction, not slows it down, that's why you don't have a mark there", he explained.
"What about number 33?"
"You mixed up the theory on the Carbonari effect and the quantum theory",he spoke.
"But still sir, look at this, it's Stacy's paper, sir, Stacy has never been a Straight A student, it's clear, she cheated..."
"Well actually, Stacy's grades are very good, she is in the running for Valedictorian this year. She is a Straight A student, I don't know how she had been able to hide that from you all along", he spoke. "You and Stacy hold the positions one and two in the whole stream. So good luck.
Wait, what!! I can't be in a competitionion! And I definitely can't not be Valedictorian!!! I have to see that i attain that position". Lemme think What can I do, what can I do?

Blake's POV, 
We got into Veronica's car and she drove. Veronica was literally so sweet. She cared about me. We got to her house it was totally deserted, probably one other reason I needed to be there with her. We went and sat down just to relax.
