"C'mon, Hermione, I told you about me and Cedric. I won't tell anyone if you're trying to keep in a secret," I insist.
She rolls her eyes.
"Fine. I guess we're kind of exclusive, but it's not a big deal. We haven't told anyone because we first need to find a way to break it to Harry,"
I raise an eyebrow.
"Hermione, no offense, but you're kind of clueless if you think Harry doesn't know. He knows you two better than anyone. Plus, he's been shipping you two behind your backs ever since the first day of school," I chuckle.
She laughs, and Ms. Browhurst returns with the brooms in her hands.
"Here you go, ladies," she says as she hands us the brooms.
I finish up paying, and head out the door into the chilly night, with Hermione's arm linked with mine.
We're, once again, engulfed in the bright green flames, before we finally land back in the fireplace we once left from.
We step out and dust ourselves off so we don't look suspicious to any of the professors.
"I'm gonna go find Fred and George. Thanks for coming with me Hermione, I owe you one," I smile as I exit the common room.
I find them at the end of the corridor, trying to sell some puking pasties to a second year.
I put the brooms behind my back as I approach them.
"Really guys? That's a new low, trying to sell to kids three years younger than you," I joke once the kid leaves.
"Just trying to make up some money so we can eventually save up for new brooms," George sighs.
"Yeah, we rarely resort to selling our stuff outside of our store, but we're kind of desperate at this point," Fred groans.
"Not anymore," I smile as I bring the brooms out from behind my back.
Their faces instantly light up and gigantic smiles spread across their faces.
George takes them and sets them down before picking me up and spinning me around.
He passes me to Fred, who does the same.
"Bloody hell, Maxwell, you didn't have to do that," Fred assures me when he sets me down.
"Yeah, seriously, how can we repay you?" George asks.
I roll my eyes.
"Don't worry about it, guys. Just promise to get me a copy of the pictures Colin snapped," I smile.
They nod and they excitedly pick up the brooms.
"Look, George! Nimbus 2000s!" Fred exclaims.
"Bloody hell, I've always dreamt of owning one of these," George says in awe.
I chuckle as I turn around and head towards my common room, looking forward to the Quidditch match tomorrow.

"Alright guys, I know we beat Gryffindor two weeks ago, but two weeks is plenty of time for them to prepare for the rematch. The twins each have new brooms, so they'll be faster than they used to be. However, they also may not be used to them, and in that case, they might not be on their A-game,"
"Just like we took note of the techniques and strategies they used last game, they're probably doing the same for us, so be prepared for them to anticipate your moves. Other than that, let's go out there and kick some ass like we always do," I smile.
Cheers erupt as we all head to our lockers to finish up our last-minute preparations.
It's kind of weird how the school has us play the same team twice in a row, but it's kind of good because if you lose, you get a chance for a rematch.
We make our way to the exit of our locker rooms and mount our brooms.
The whistle blows, and we're off.

Harry took a bludger to the stomach, knocking him off his broom, allowing Malfoy to catch the snitch.
Let me rephrase that.
Harry took my bludger to the stomach, knocking him off his broom, allowing Malfoy to catch the snitch.
I feel bad that he's hurt, but I don't regret it because it earned us another win. Plus, it's a beater's job to hit the opposing team, even if they're your friend. It's all just part of the game.
Spirits are high in the locker room, and everyone's ecstatic from, yet, another win.
When I finish showering, I throw on one of Cedric's t-shirts, and a pair of his boxers. I practically live in his clothes at this point.
I step out of the shower and round the corner. In the main area, he's sitting on a bench, waiting expectantly.
His face lights up when he sees me, and mine does the same.
"Congrats on another win," he smiles as he brings my face close to his.
"Shut up," I mock him as I connect his lips with mine.
He laughs into the kiss, as his hands explore my back and under my shirt.
One of my hands tugs at his hair, while the other explores his defined muscles.
He sighs, and I break away, realizing it's getting late and we should probably head to dinner.
"You've got a big day tomorrow," I say as we head towards the great hall, his arm around my waist.
"Don't remind me," he groans.
I stop and turn towards him, taking his face in my hands.
"You'll do great. You've been prepping like crazy, and you have plenty of strategies. Those dragons have nothing on you,"
He smiles and puts his lips to my forehead.
"Plus, I've got you in the stands rooting for me," he whispers.
"Yeah, that too," I chuckle.
-
I'm met with the familiar blinding light, forcing me to open my eyes and wake up.
I groan and cover my eyes, not wanting it to be morning yet.
"Morning, love," I hear Cedric's raspy voice say from right next to me.
I turn to him and a soft smile spreads across my face from the view in front of me.
I've been sleeping in his dorm pretty much every night since we became exclusive, since we hate being away from each other, but I still haven't gotten used to how good he looks when he first wakes up.
One of the benefits of him being a prefect is that he gets his own room, which is super nice for us so I can sleep over without having to deal with any of his roommates.
After a minutes, I hear the familiar booming voice over the entire school.
"Hogwarts students, it is now time to make your way to the arena behind the school where we will be hosting our first Triwizard Tournament challenge. Dragons,"
