W3C User Agent Accessibility Guidelines Working Group Patent Disclosures

W3C takes no position regarding either:

  1. the validity or scope of any intellectual property right or other rights that might be claimed to pertain to the implementation or use of the technology, or
  2. the extent to which any license under such rights might or might not be available.

Patents essential to these deliverables should be disclosed according to section 3 of W3C's Current Patent Practice Note.

Note: As of January 2002, W3C is working on a new patent policy. The UAWG is expected to adopt the completed policy with the rest of W3C.
