We loved the apartment with its modern, elegant décor, private terrace, views of the lawn and trees in the adjacent communal garden, and birdsongs. The apartment is on a quiet side street in the heart of South Kennsington. We walked around the corner for the best, inventive Spanish tapas we have ever had, as well as an excellent Michelin-starred French restaurant. A top-notch butcher, small grocery store, helpful wine merchant, and superb French boulangerie with croissants, etc. were also nearby. A short walk took us to the South Ken shopping district, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and the South Kennsington Underground stop that took us anywhere else we wanted to go. The kitchen was well-supplied, and beds were comfortable. Room-darkening curtains in the master bedroom were a nice touch, given that we like to sleep in a dark room. Since our teenage son decided not to come on the trip, we used the other bedroom as a dressing room. We highly recommend this apartment.
