Take a trip back in time into the swinging psychedelic aesthetic of 1960s London, when Art Nouveau and early Art Deco were the signs of fashion and rebellion.

The 2 bedroom apartment sleeps up to 5 people, located on the second floor of a private house (Ground Floor, 1st Floor, 2nd Floor), in the very centre of Mayfair. Built in the 1730s, it is one of two earliest surviving houses in this area. Modernised in 1821 by Thomas Cubitt, who built the facade of Buckingham Palace. This is a rather rare historical building in central London.

There are 30 steps from the street level to the apartment door, no elevator.

A Gem In The Heart of Mayfair!
This property is in an excellent location, within walking distance of the Elizabeth Line. It is surrounded by great restaurants and retail. The flat provided ample space and had every item that we could ever need. It was comfortable and stylish. The hosts were responsive, helpful and went above and beyond providing neighbourhood information and great recommendations. I would book this property again.

Great location!
This flat is in a great location, walking distance to so many of London's attractions. It's also extremely easy to grab a cab or uber from the locations. Tons of restaurants and pubs nearby too! The flat itself is clean and well furnished. We had a wonderful visit here!

Lovely apartment
My husband, daughter, and I stayed one week in this charming flat. The neighborhood is fantastic, and within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to see. Very much appreciated all the thoughtful touches in the apartment for travelers – including some toiletries, coffee, and spare adapters. The host was even kind enough to accommodate my luggage prior to check in, as I had an early flight from the US. Would definitely stay here again – thank you, Jacob!

Home from home comfort in a great location
The host was amazingly helpful! He was responsive to my many questions, and open to my somewhat needy requests. The property was clean, comfortable and charming. It is furnished to be someone's home and we were encouraged to treat it as our own. We particularly enjoyed looking at the music art in the living room, which brought back many happy memories. The location just can't be beaten. It's just minutes from some amazing restaurants, and extremely central for sightseeing. I will absolutely rent it again.

Location, location, location
This was such a wonderful find! The flat is very clean and comfortable and in an amazing location. We were able to walk everywhere from it - Hyde park, Buckingham palace, Westminster Abby... everywhere. Such a quiet, upscale location. Could not be happier with this find. Nice apartment, nice location
We had only 2 nights in London and the apartment offered a great, comfortable stay after an extra long day of travel. It is located in a nice location with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The host was so helpful and very easy to communicate with.

Amazing flat!
Jacob's flat is a perfect place to stay when visiting London. The location cannot be beat! Inside the flat, the decorations are homey and stylish. The beds are comfortable and the home is incredibly clean. Jacob allowed us to check in early in the morning, which made all the difference with the time change. Would highly recommend this VRBO. Great Flat!
This was a fantastic property, very clean and Jacob was a great host and very responsive to all of my questions. The location is wonderful and we were able to walk to lots or take a short walk to the underground. It was well equipped with everything we needed, it had a hair dryer as well as lots of adapters for US outlets. They thought of everything. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone.

A gorgeous flat on a quiet street with many thoughtful details, including plugs and USB chargers everywhere. Kitchen with everything to make a quick meal or use for takeaway, a dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and Nespresso machine. Location is great, just off Berkeley Square in Mayfair, walkable to many locations. The host, Jacob, met us on arrival, an early AM flight from the US and gave some great local tips. Highly recommend!

Location was our top priority, and we were happy with the proximity to everything, while on a quiet street. The flat was very clean. It’s small, but so much better than a hotel room. We enjoyed breakfasts there, not having to rush out. Nicely renovated kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Property owner accommodated our early arrival, which we really appreciated.

what a gem!
This flat in Mayfair is one go the most fabulous rental we have stayed in! We felt like privileged guests of Jacob and Thomasina's in this stylish, music themed flat with such a storied history. There are so many thoughtful details: USB chargers everywhere, plenty of towels, toiletries, very comfortable beds plus fans!! The kitchen was perfect, beautiful dishware, a dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and an Nespresso machine & generous amount of pods. plenty of cookware if you wanted to make a meal (we didn't). The little cafe next door was delicious (not open on weekends) It was nice getting back after sightseeing London to relax here! Flat is in a central location & walking distance to most sites.. definitely will be back. well done!

Fantastic Flat in the Best Location with a Great Host
This was absolutely the perfect apartment for our trip to London with our 12 year old daughter. The flat is in an amazing location just off Berkeley Square in the heart of Mayfair - walkable to almost all of the major attractions and museums. The flat is comfortable, on a surprisingly quiet street and very well appointed, everything that you might want and more. And Jacob the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. He provided great recommendations, greeted us on arrival with good cheer and did us a huge personal favor that made our trip much easier. Overall great experience. We travel a lot and have rented dozens of homes in the US and in Europe. This was a great experience! Highly recommended!

Along with Dunhill's Bourdon House opposite us, our home is the oldest surviving building in Mayfair, dating back to the 1730s. In 1820s it was expanded and rebuilt by the same architect who later built the iconic eastern façade of Buckingham Palace.
