Walma Norfolk
Nicely situated property. Close to beach and food outlets. Interior of property was nice. Good kitchen. Plenty of space in the property. Bedding and towels spotless. Lot of clutter in property, garden overgrown inhibiting access to drive.

Clean house in a great location.
We enjoyed our week at Walma. It's in a great position, right near the beach, the local shop, bus stops, and walking routes. Also, the village was very quiet at all times. The house feels bright and airy, with plenty of space in the kitchen and dining area. The bedrooms and linens were clean and fresh. The bedroom furniture is like new. The bed downstairs was comfortable, those upstairs less so. The back garden could do with a clear-up, but it's suitable for sitting in the sun. As has been mentioned previously, the hob has no markings, so you are never sure which pad will heat up. Also, the toaster needs replacing - it will only toast one slice at a time. In general, the tools for cooking could be better - saucepans need a deep clean, for example. However, we didn't come here to cook, so it was only a minor inconvenience. A lovely break and a very friendly house.

Holiday in Norfolk.
Mould in downstairs bedroom. Behind bedside table and headboard. Dust under bed no sockets 2 extension leads. Bathroom mould patches along wall. Garden was over grown and in desperate need of sorting out. Wasn't safe for children rhorns a rickety old greenhouse. Neighbour was moaning about cars.

Great location
This property is in a great location for the beach and other activities. Walking distance from the Chip Shop, Butchers, Pub and little shop. Three good sized bedrooms, a well stocked kitchen and two separate sitting areas. Garden is a nice size, although a little over grown in places. Had to park outside the property, as we couldn't fit our car through the gate, but this wasn't a big issue as the house is situated down a private road, with very little traffic. This also results in little or no road noise at night, even with the windows open. Tesco is just down the road in Sheringham. Great base for visiting Norfolk Coast or just staying in East Runton and going to the beach.

East Runton house
Good but certain things could be better Room with tv has unnecessary large table but only 2 quite uncomfortable chairs. Take table out put in a sofa. It would be helpful if you provided a cot/travel cot and high chair. We had to clean out dishwasher filter and buy salt and rinse aid. Dishes in dishwasher when we got there were still dirty! Garden very overgrown. At least pathways could have been cleared.

British Summer holiday
East Runton is an excellent location. The house is a short walk away from the beach. The local shop has good crabs. The pots are a bit small to cook for six, definitely enough coffee mugs but not enough small bowls. Good size cottage and garden. The mist will stop anything drying.

Comfy bottom please
This is a constructive review - not a moan! We have had a lovely stay at the house and have had a lovely holiday. Would we go back to walma? Absolutely!! If…….. - there were comfier chairs in the television room, the garden was a little more secure for the dog and maybe some instructions on how to use the hob (all the visual clues have been worm away from the hob itself. Whilst they are small things to fix, a safe pooch and a comfy bottom are quite important to us . Clare

80th Birthday break
I took my mother to Norfolk as part of her 80th Birthday celebrations. Walma is a good sized, well laid out property, on a quiet private road in a beautiful part of Norfolk. The garden, although a little overgrown, is a sun-trap for much of the day. I chose this property because it has a downstairs bedroom and bathroom, and the stairs are a little steep.

Comfortable accomodation within walking distance of Cromer
Comfortable accommodation set on an extremely quiet private road with a good sized rear garden which has once been someones pride and joy although now a little overgrown. A gentle 20 minute stroll into Cromer or you can walk into Sheringham in about 1 hour. There is a bus service at the end of the road which appeared quite regular although we didn't use it as we preferred to walk. East Runton has a small convenience store which sells newspapers etc and there is a pub and a take away fish shop.

Better than expected
What a lovely cottage, ideally situated with a lovely warm atmosphere. The beds were comfy ,the kitchen was everything we needed Only a couple of things, the sofas are due an update and the television would be better in the lounge as only two small chairs in the snug. It would be difficult for six adults. However it didn't spoil our holiday and we loved sitting by the patio doors watching greenfinches, goldfinches ,blackbirds and a baby robin in the garden. East Runton itself has lovely walks on common land and has views from the cliffs towards Cromer. There is a handy shop and pub and chippy within a few minutes walk of Walma. The beach access is a bit steep but the beach is clean and great for a good walk or just to watch the fishing boats come in.

Mucky
Lovely property in a quiet location, however the garden is very overgrown. The property could also do with better cleaning. The dust in areas was terrible and obviously been there some time and lots of cobwebs on the walls! Window sills outside were black and hadn’t been cleaned for some time! Beds were uncomfortable and the single beds squeaked terribly!
