Totally different to the pictures and not very comfortable

I have always had good experiences with Vrbo and enjoyed staying in various properties. I have never had an experience quite like this one. Firstly, I was expecting a beautiful basement apartment - like the description and pictures displayed. However, I received a small, first floor apartment with a tiny couch full of springs and two beds - with thin and lumpy mattresses. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was extremely weak and there was no Netflix. This made working very difficult and it was impossible to sit comfortably on the couch to watch anything. To add to all of this, the door lock was extremely stiff and opened occasionally by itself. And, the battery was gone in the fire alarm therefore for 3 days we were treated to incessant beeping. I did reach out to the management but they did not bother to respond. It was a disappointing stay and it was not relaxing as we had hoped it to be.

Disgraceful

It's was disgraceful... The communication with the issues were none exsitant.... Heating didn't work the shower didn't work..... We had dogs running round and people moving furniture alnight above us and dogs weeing down walls on to hand rails into the property... I wouldn't recommend staying at this property at all.

Nice basement flat

Lovely furnished basement flat. Not as close to Central Blackpool as we thought (3 stops on a tram - we thought we were within a stones throw of the Tower). The only real complaint I have about the flat was the bed in the master bedroom... just throw the bed out, please! I felt every spring; it slanted heavily toward the headboard (there appeared to be 1 footv missing and we actually slept at the foot of the bed!) and when I stripped the bed when we left, the stains were a bit shocking! Some other suggestions; I'd advise the owner to fit a motion sensor light for outside, as it was so dark and the steps are a bit tricky and perhaps a seal around your door as the wind was whistling in! And a door mat! I had to keep wiping wet and dirty footprints up in the hallway! There needs to be a frying pan and a scissor there, too! I'm being very picky here but these are the downsides to the flat. On the whole, a really lovely flat. Very cosy, really lovingly furnished and we did enjoy our stay (even though I had to sleep on the settee!) Thank you.

Poor communication

when I book this place I ask if it was wheelchair accessible and was told yes when I reach to Blackpool with my 19 year daughter who can’t wait and reach the apartment there was three step in which my daughter could not get up. I call the assistant who I book the house thur and couldn’t get any help after standing outside for four hours in the cold with my kids I try to get a hotel which nothing was available to assist my daughter i didn’t see any way out as we came from far I didn’t had any choice but to try enter the house what really upset me the most is that there was also another 6 to 7 steps to enter the house I had to take a 19 year old on my back to and from the house thur out the whole trip as I had pay for places for my kids to go and didn’t had any choice to go or lose my money

Lovely decor

The apartment was beautifully decorated and I got some lovely pictures of me and my partner. The host was lovely and even allowed us a late checkout for a small fee. Would go again

Lovely apartment. Gorgeous bath. I will be staying again.

I originally booked Mon to Fri for myself my daughter and 2 grandchildren. Due to train strikes I couldn't get there until Tues and my daughter and youngest grandchild didn't end up coming. So there was just me and my teenage grandson. Entrance to apartment needs more lighting outside in the evening,but apart from that I thought it was lovely. We both enjoyed our stay.it was very homely. The gorgeous bath in the master bedroom was stunning. I will be staying again. I didn't want to leave.
