Bright sunny small self-contained studio with its own independent entrance, tucked away at the back of a small private garden. Quiet and safe area. All new with quality double bed with big square French pillows and 'traversin' (bolster), equipped kitchenette with microwave, fridge, coffee maker, kettle & small electric oven (but no hob), toaster. Shower, wc, TV etc. Reading table, wifi, lightproof blinds. Lovely upmarket safe neighbourhood. Near to 3 stations (Overground and Underground, central London in 10 minutes) with nearby supermarkets, cafés, dozens of restaurants. Really lovely, bright and clean in quiet yard. Excellent airport connections nearby. Very reasonably priced for what is on offer. You can go out for breakfast to local cafés or bring back your own. Ideally situated for access to central London and within a reasonably priced taxi ride back from town. This is a strictly NO SMOKING cosy little studio with great transport and facilities nearby. Ideal for a short stay with access to central London, theatres, shops, attractions, etc.

Small and tidy. Great location.
This compact studio worked perfectly for my needs. Good location, close to Jubilee line. Host Edward was responsive, and there were many helpful instructions inside the property. Bathroom space is small, which was not a problem for me but if you are a larger person, this may not be the best choice for you.

This space is small but fit our needs perfectly! Close to public transportation, beautiful walkable neighborhood. Fabulous for a short stay in London. The portable air conditioner was fabulous to have for unusually warm weather in London. Would stay here again and will recommend to friends! Excellent communication from host.

Cute tiny space
This small space was a great landing spot while visiting family. We were there on a cold week but the room was the perfect temperature. We had what we needed in the kitchenette. It was not a grand space but sufficient for our needs.

Perfect for our stay
This self contained cottage was perfect for our visit to London. It was cozy and had all we needed. Very close to the Tube. Edward was a concerned and kind host. Good value for the price.

A thoroughly unenjoyable stay. I reported an issue with one of the listed amenities immediately on arrival, and asked how I could help resolve the problem. The communication was incredibly poor. Essentially "wait a bit, it'll sort itself out". I can't recommend this location at all, if anything goes wrong, you're on your own.

Owner is a great host. Very responsive and helpful and makes sure you are comfortable. He even saved something left behind and I received it on my return. He also received some mail for me. Easy walk to nearest tube station. Groceries close by. Close to Abbey Road Studios if you're a fan! Bed is comfy! Will stay here again.

Very secure neighborhood with great local restaurants !!!
Our host, Edward, made us feel very welcome and gave us all the info we needed to check-in seamlessly. The room is compact, but has all the conveniences of home. Access is by a back gate behind the residence where we felt very secure with locked gate and front door. Good breakfasts at Zara and choice of dinner restaurants across the street. Loved our stay !!!!

Cozy place to stay
This place is perfect, especially if you don't plan on hanging around the apartment much. It was just what I needed, a cozy place to sleep. It is situated between three metro stops and is easy to get to the center of London. There are plenty of little grocery stores, coffee shops, and restaurants nearby. Edward was quick to reply and willing to help when I needed it. I would definitely recommend this place!

I needed a place to stay for a day and two nights, knowing I wouldn’t be there for much more than to sleep and shower. This was perfect. I wouldn’t want to be there with more people, as it is a small space. It was clean, bright, and cheery, and there were instructions for how to use everything. Great neighborhood. Tip: make sure the escalator at Swiss Cottage station works before lugging your heavy suitcases there.

Jubilee Weekend - amazing experience
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! ****EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND KINDNESS***** The owner notified us the day prior to our stay that the apartment had a maintenance issue that would make it unusable for a few days. Rather than cancelling our stay he had managed to arrange a reservation for us at another location and covered the difference in cost. Considering this was the week of Jubilee, he had to go to immense efforts to find accommodations for us but he did. Not only that, but when he messaged us to tell us of the change, he had the address of the new location, the payment all arranged for, the appropriate tube stations listed, and his phone number to call in case anything went wrong. He gave us directions from LHR to get to the location and he gave us the check-in hours. The alternate facility he arranged for us was lovely, a bit further out but actually very convenient still to transportation options. We were able to do all the same things we wanted to do originally with just a few minor rearrangements. All in all - this was a hugely successful trip, and while I know things can happen at the last moment, our host successfully took the strain off of us, and our stay was amazing. I highly recommend this host based on his attention to detail, his care and concern, his follow-up to ensure we were situated and his genuine sense of wanting to ensure our visit went well. This is a remarkable trait in anyone these days and I can't say enough thanks. Just based on his care and concern, I would rent his place in the future. Mary

As Advertised...but small
We had a good stay here but did find it to be smaller than we had expected. That said, the pictures did show the place as it is, but it is difficult to tell from a picture just how small the place is.. The area, while not overly picturesque, felt safe and it was only a short walk to the underground which made getting to places we wanted to go very easy. Edward was excellent in getting back to us if/when we had questions or concerns and he dealt with everything quickly and to our satisfaction. There were a couple of minor maintenance issues which were quickly addressed. The gate into the garden was a bit tricky and we had to play with it a bit, but got better at it as time went on. Access to the garden is off a small side street and the actual walkway up to the garden gate had a lot of litter on the ground. A bit of a cleanup would be nice. There aren't a lot of eateries in the immediate area...three we found...but that wasn't a big concern for us. We liked the Singapore Restaurant best. Overall, our stay was quite satisfactory. Would we stay here again? We would probably explore other options, but certainly not write this one off either. We would likely just have a look to see what else was out there. If we felt Edward's place was the best bang for our buck, we would come back.

Lovely little flat
This flat is a great place to stay for 1 or 2 people. It was very clean and had everything I needed. It was nice to make breakfast at home before going out for the day. The location is very convenient for exploring London with two Tube stops nearby.

There are too many good things about this studio to list them all! The owner, Edward, is so nice and easy to work with regarding your stay. The studio itself is very comfortable and clean! We have stayed in other VRBOs and this is one of my favorites! Even though it was a studio, there was plenty of room for my husband and myself. The location of the studio is also great, you are conveniently located to underground stations/bus stops. The neighborhood felt very safe no matter what time we were out. You are also close to various restaurants and shops. We LOVED the restaurant across the street, Nona. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. If you get a chance to speak with the owner, he is really nice too. If you are searching for a place to stay in London, this is it! You can stop your search because you won't be disappointed with this studio apartment!

Edward was the best!
Edward was very accommodating and a pleasure to talk to. He was very helpful with directions and history. The flat was small but very clean and well kept. The location is wonderful, in a safe, high-end neighborhood and close to transportation, restaurants and shopping. I would stay here again! Thanks Edward!

I live partly in Paris and in London. I speak English, French and Spanish. I have put this little studio together so that it meets my own standards and would be what I would look for when I travel. I am very particular about the standards I seek when I travel, especially cleanliness. There are lots of little gadgets in the studio which will help make your short stay convenient.

Why they chose this property

The property is in a very upmarket area where most houses are privately owned. We have a host of good useful shops within minutes. It is in a quiet and safe area, well away from bustle but very near a shopping area. The facilities have been very carefully well thought out with everything you will need for a short visit to London.

What makes this property unique

We have a unique key-pad entry system so you can arrive any time in the day or night and use our 'no key' entry facility. We need prior notice for this.
Our transport links to all parts of central London are exceptional. We have the Jubilee line and Metropolitan line within a few minutes which will take you to Theatreland or the City in very little time. The airport bus stop to Stansted and Luton is five minutes away and other airports are very accessible too.
