About this property

Well equipped apartment in the heart of Kensington, very close to shops and amenities. A very large terrace which has sunshine all day. Good for outdoor living, with a Barbecue and lots of seating. Master bedroom has large fully fitted wardrobe. All beds fitted with top quality bed linen, hotel standard. There are at least 3 gyms which are walking distance away who would welcome short term members. One has a swimming pool. The apartment has it own front door on street level. It is a quiet neighbourhood street, very safe and friendly with a village atmosphere. The reason for no recent reviews is because it has been let long term for the last 4 years. Kensington Terrace Apartment

My husband and I just left after a 5 night stay at this lovely apartment. It’s located in a very nice area just west of London not but a short probably 3min walk to the nearest bus stop and 10 or so min walk to the nearest tube station. Eve was incredibly nice and quick to respond to any questions. If we come back to London we would stay here no question, hopefully during a time of year when we could make use of the nice terrace.

Comfortable flat in London

Our family of 4 enjoyed this comfortable and convenient flat in London/Kensington. The apartment was as advertised. Only issue was a bit of noise at night from a near by busy street, but otherwise a great place to stay.

Great trip to London

We had a great visit to London. This property was just as described. Great location, great restaurant on the corner and a mini market below the unit. Yvonne was very accommodating to our needs. If in London I would definitely stay here again.

Great location

We had a lovely stay in London and this flat is perfectly located off of High Street Kensington with easy access to transportation and shops for necessities. Holland Park is a short walk away and worth a visit. Overall the flat met our needs and was quite comfortable. The outside space was nice to have since we had perfect weather while in London. There are a lot of stairs but that is pretty common for a city flat. Just be mindful when booking that this is a common issue and not every flat is well suited for those that have issues with stairs. Overall we had a lovely time and this flat perfectly suited our needs.

Couldn't have been better

One of the reasons that I want to come back to London is to stay at this property. Great location , host , and property. For a family of four, couldn't have asked for a better place. Eve was responsive to our needs and took care of every little request. thanks for great memories

Kensington Flat

The property was close to a police station and there was a lot of noise, sirens etc. It was a good walk to Kensington High Street station. There were many grocery stores in the area to stock with food, snacks, etc. There were plenty of dishes, coffee and items to make the stay more comfortable. The mattresses on the beds were ok but firm, if you prefer firm. The internet and TV service was great. I was disappointed with the deck. I thought the grill would be more than a small Weber charcoal grill, Deck is in need of replacing. Our host Eve Cross was great. I even called her when we got lost in the city and she helped us get home. If you don't mind the noise and the walk to the tube, the apartment was very comfortable and fairly clean.

Great flat for families

Our family had a wonderful few days in London here. The flat is as pictured & described plenty of space for our family of 5. It was nice having 2 bathrooms as well. The neighborhood was quiet & safe, and the bodega market directly below was so convenient! Eve was terrific answering our questions before the trip & meeting is there when we arrived to get us all acclimated. We arrived during a heat wave & she made sure there were plenty of fans in the apartment to help us stay cool. We truly enjoyed our stay My only suggestion would be to have a couple of USB ports to help with keeping devices charged. Thank you Eve 😊

Perfect for us!

This flat in Kensington was perfect! There were 3 of us traveling and plenty of room. After a day in the city we enjoyed having a little quiet space to relax in a beautiful neighborhood. The flat is just as described, very clean and comfy!

Lovely apartment!!

We stayed in the apartment with my wife and three children. The apartment has everything you need for a family stay. The neighborhood is very beautiful, and has a lot of great places nearby. Yvonne was very helpful and always gave us the best service. Without a doubt I want to come back and stay at this wonderful place!

Lovely flat in fabulous Kensington location!

We truly enjoyed our stay is this sweet, lovely flat in London. Incredibly convenient to all of the sights—just walk a block and catch the No. 9 bus or walk a few more minutes to hop on the Tube. The flat was well appointed and cozy. We were there with our 2 children who fell in love with the second bedroom. We could barely get them out of the flat to enjoy the sights! A huge plus having 2 comfortable bathrooms. Overall, the flat was fantastic. It was clean and had everything we needed, and Yvonne was very responsive to an inquiry we had while there. We would stay here again!

Great location!

Fantastic Stay!

Loved my recent stay at this property! My family of 4 adults was in London for 10 days. The flat is centrally located near several Tube stations and is a quick walk to High Street in Kensington. Lots of cute shops and grocery stores nearby too.

Yvonne Was The Most Graciuos Host!! She will do anything to make sure your stay the best!!!

This was the perfect flat for us! We felt very safe and secure there. The communication from questions on booking until our arrival from the airport was outstanding. The flat was very quiet, clean, and comfortable. The tube stop around the corner as well as being in walking distance to great pubs and other various sites made our stay very carefree. Great location and accommodations!

Comfortable and well located to see the sites of London.

This flat was perfect for our group of four. It is well situated in a relatively quiet neighborhood and allows easy access to public transportation. Yvonne was very accommodating and pleasant to work with. The stairs were a bit challenging for heavier luggage but manageable.

Great flat in a great part of London

There is only one Kensington and this apartment is right in the heart of it. My family of four had a terrific long Thanksgiving weekend and would love nothing more than to come back to the flat for a longer visit. Yvonne was particularly welcoming and went out of her way to help us plan our days and nights. The flat is spacious and bright and we loved having the two bathrooms for us and our two children.

Great little flat in Kensington

The apartment was exactly as advertised, perfect for our family of four with two teenagers. Convenient with underground station within a 10-15 min walk, and a pub around the corner. The Londis next door was also great for getting daily necessities. The only complaint I have is the washer/dryer combo, which could not dry our clothes without running the cycle 2-3 times.

Convenient and cute

This is my second time staying at this property, and it did not disappoint again. The location, while not in central London, is extremely well situated - the bus, tube, and even walking are easy to manage. The flat itself has two nice bathrooms and two bedrooms. The first time I stayed with one other person and this time it was 4 people (adults) total. With 4 people, the space can feel a bit cramped but nothing too bad. I love this property and would recommend to anyone staying in a London. The property manager is also very communicative and friendly - which is very helpful.

A comfortable, well-equipped property in a nice neighborhood in Kensington.

Our group consisted of a 30-something woman, her 60-something mother and their 60-something female cousin. We found the flat to have everything we needed, from hair dryers to fans and space heaters, an excellent satellite TV/DVD system, plenty of towels, even washcloths and bathmats, and we never ran out of hot water. Yvonne provided more clean bed and bath linens half way through our 2-week stay. The location was very convenient; it was about a 15-minute walk to the High Street Kensington Tube station, less if we caught the bus near the corner of Addison Road. There is a convenience store literally 15 steps from the front door which stays open until 10pm and provided almost everything we needed, even our Oyster cards for the Tube and buses. A larger Waitrose grocery store is on the way to the Tube station, and a fairly large Boots store and a nice Marks & Spencer are within the station. A large Whole Foods Market is just past the Tube station. There are lots of pubs, restaurants and fast food places within a 15- to 20-minute walk of the flat, but the flat's kitchen is equipped with a full-size fridge/freezer, microwave and regular range for meals in as needed, especially handy for breakfast. There is also a small dishwasher and combo washer-dryer for doing laundry, a clothes drying rack, iron and ironing board. There's a large patio/terrace outside the kitchen, but we were so busy being tourists we didn't have much time to enjoy it. We felt quite safe in the flat and everywhere we walked, even coming back from the Tube station or a restaurant at night. One thing to consider about the flat, which is true of many places in England, is the number of steps which you must climb. There is a staircase from the front door up to the "first floor" where the living room/lounge and kitchen are, then another one to the "second floor" where the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are. However, this would only be a problem for someone with mobility issues. There is some outdoor noise from traffic and sirens, but this is London after all; you might well encounter this anywhere in the city (or any city,) even in a pricy hotel. There was no through-the-walls or from-the-floor-above noise. We would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend this flat and Yvonne as a landlady.

Why they chose this property

This is a really great property, it has everything but the joy of the apartment is the outside space, it is a sunny terrace and a great place to chill out, very quiet and a view of the pretty mews behind. And South Facing !

What makes this property unique

2 bathrooms, and of course the privacy of being a duplex, if people want to sleep upstairs, others can stay awake and watch tv or plan the next day downstairs. I have many guide books and maps for you. All necessities, provided including washing detergent and dishwasher tablets, shampoo, soap. Also food necessities, including coffee and tea etc.
