Great place
The apartment was very charming. The park was across the street. Tesco for a quick food was just across the park. The canal walk.. Lynn was a great host and answered all her questions as we ask them. Best job was right down the street.

2nd time still the charm:
This was our second time renting this listing. We loved it then and now. We stayed two weeks each time. It met our needs exactly. Close to all the necessary amenities. The tube, coffee in the morning, groceries and restaurants. All in a very clean and safe environment. Lubna is a very attentive and accommodating hoist. It feels like home in a very short time. We’ll rent it again!!!!

A perfect haven!
I really enjoyed this place! It is a beautiful studio with perfect amount of space for me. I was, also, very happy for the stove, washer/dryer and other amenities especially with the week long trip. The place was very close to the Underground which made travel very nice and the town is safe and very quaint. I definitely would love to return here!

Very efficient and lovely suite
We loved our stay. The apartment is in a great area, only 2 blocks from the tube. Has all of the necessary furnishings. Lubna ŵas very attentive and helpful. Would stay there again.

THE best!
Not only was my studio nice, but Lubna and her daughter , Farah(sp?) were the perfect hosts. A very clean and comfortable studio space. And quiet! The block that they're on is really nice too, and you're maybe 4 minutes from the Southfield Underground stop. In fact the whole area is REALLY nice. Great restaurants, my favorite, Franco Manca is no more than a 5 minute walk. SO convenient. AND at least three wonderful coffee shops. Caffe Nero is right across the street from the tube stop. Even coming from and going back to Heathrow is a breeze. One easy change at Earl's Court. I love London and I'd stay at Lubna's in Southfield again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Pros: - Great neighborhood and surrounding area. Tube bus and Tesco within walking distance as well as a few shops and restaurants - Easy check in process - Flat included basic cooking utilities which was nice for breakfast Cons: - A bit more attention could have been paid to cleaning - Rugs in main room and bathroom don’t feel very clean and could honestly just be taken out (I personally prefer hard floors) - Upstairs can be quite loud at times especially for sensitive sleepers Overall I would recommend this for a budget friendly stay in a really cute area.

Small space but perfect
The host was great and very welcoming and more helpful than I could ever ask. The space was a little smaller than expected (as promised, a studio) but we were very comfortable and the area was immaculate. Such a nice neighborhood, convenient location, thrilled with our choice to stay here.

Easy London Access - Quite Location
This property worked out fantastic for my son and I. Our agenda consisted of day trips to various areas in and around London so we didn’t need a large place to stay that was safe and quiet and clean, which this was! Quiet neighborhood, 5 minutes access to the Southfields tube station, plenty of shops and access to restaurants near by if you aren’t feeling up for meals in the center of London. Highly recommend.

Conveniently Located Studio Apartment Near Wimbledon
Cozy, clean studio apartment conveniently located 5 minutes walking distance from an Underground station, which provides easy access to Wimbledon and other major London sights. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood within easy walking distance to grocery stores, pubs and a variety of restaurants. The owner was kind and helpful, making sure that we had what we needed at check in and then giving us our privacy throughout our visit. Highly recommend.

The house the flat was in had a garden with all beautiful roses, the garage had been converted into the flat. There were problems with the dryer, it did not work, not much hot water, but there was a hot water tank in the shower that saved the day. We asked for paper towels and where not given any but the place was so small there was not much cleaning to do.

Wonderful Rental for A First Visit to London!
This was the perfect rental for a first visit to London! It was perfect for one person and included everything you might need. The rental was very clean. The hostess was kind and pleasant. The neighborhood was beautiful and very safe. It was very close to the underground and it took me less than 20 minutes to get into the heart of the city. The neighborhood included a local grocery, restaurants and coffee shops. I would absolutely stay here again!

Clean, friendly, good location
My college aged daughter stayed here while on internship in London. The place is very compact, but also functional. The neighborhood felt safe, and she felt confident coming and going from the train station. Loved seeing the neighborhood fox! It was nice to know someone was on the property and they were very kind and helpful. Thank you.

Perfect location and fabulous flat
This VRBO was everything my husband and I needed while in London. We were able to cook some of our meals in and still go out to explore the city. The VRBO was a walk from the Tube (metro) and took us right to our friends place with no problems. The suburban town feel was perfect after a long day in the bustling city center of London. The flat (apartment) was located right before the section of London where we would have had to pay to have a car, so my friends were able to drive to see us without paying the congestion fee. We got to this VRBO, returned our rental car and spent the last 4-5 days of our trip using the bus and subway. The town the VRBO was in had amazing restaurants and pastry shops. The grocery store was also just a walk away. All in all, we will be back. This VRBO was everything we needed to have a fab vacation. The host was friendly and professional as well.

In neighborhood near Wimbledon
Easy to get on and off the district line. Interesting to be in a residential area takes time to get downtown. Very small needs a table and better chair. We did have a mouse that was taken care of.

Wonderful!
This is a great place to stay whilst in London. Lubna is a terrific host and responds to messages promptly. She was very gracious about my slight change of schedule and allowed me to check in a couple hours early. She then showed me how everything in the apartment worked, gave me a couple tips on the local neighborhood. and then left me to enjoy London. While it’s not near downtown I actually preferred it that way. It’s in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, very close to the Southfields tube station (District line; direction: Wimbledon). It takes about 25-35 minutes to get into whatever part of central London you want to get to, but honestly the minutes on the tube flew by and I never begrudged the travel time. To be sure it is a small studio apartment, but it was perfect for my needs traveling alone. Two people would be comfortable here but you’d want your companion to be someone you are well acquainted with. It has everything you would need, such as pans and dishes, but I didn’t use the kitchen or washing machine so I have no thoughts there. There were too many food choices in London for me to stay home and cook. The bed was quite comfortable. There are both a Sainsbury’s Local and a Tesco Express quite nearby for any grocery store needs, and if you need a full-size grocery store you can take the tube two more stops to Wimbledon and there is a huge Sainsbury’s market very close to the station. Bottom line I enjoyed my stay here. and when I next return to London I hope to stay here again.

I started this business over fourteen years ago as I love to meet people of different nationalities , and enjoy learning about different cultures and common threads that unite us.
I enjoy South Asian Classical and Semi Classical music going to Museums and Art Galleries. Gardening is another of my passions and love to visit the Royal Horticultural Society's Garden at Wisley which luckily is only 20 minutes drive away. My favourite city is Venice.

Why they chose this property

I bought this property about 35 years ago as I always wanted to live on this road. The beautiful houses with big gardens always attracted me. The cherry trees and the winding road was another plus point.
