Landing page: Welcome traveller!

I would like to acknowledge the Gadigal of the Eora Nation, the traditional custodians of this land and pay my respects to the Elders past, present and emerging. I acknowledge that Aboriginal sovereignty has not been ceded.

Hello!

What I am about:

I am a mid-30s pagan (chaos witch & devotional polytheist) and tarot reader of over two-decades and late diagnosed multiply-Neurodivergent located in Australia.

I was taught how to use Ouija when I was 4 years old.

I am of European, Jewish and UK descent, so I try to hold space for PoC folk as best as possible, while doing my best to avoid cultural appropriation.

I generally don't discuss my disabilities unless relevant (e.g. ND friendly practices).

I am happy to assist others with queries however there are some housekeeping rules that I will add below.

While I am also Nonbinary with They/Them pronouns, how others choose to perceive me is none of my concern.

Previously a Norse Pagan/Heathen until Hermes & Apollo had me relocate to a Greek neighbourhood (it's a thing)

Norse Gods I was previously devoted to: Loki, Freyja & Njord

Norse Gods I previously worshipped: Odin, Tyr & anyone else wanting to pop in & say hello.

Greek Gods that I am currently a Devotee of: Apollo, Ares and Hermes

Greek Gods I casually Worship: Zeus, my other soul parent deities (linked post on this concept below), Aphrodite, Melinoe and any deity who decides to pop in.

I do casually engage in Demonolatry & other Occult studies.

I have briefly worked with the Kemetic Gods and still respect them.

I have performed "baneful" magick and am absolutely not hesitant to lay down a bloodline curse when pushed however Shadow Work and healing are the better paths to heightened spiritual growth & abilities.

What I am not about:

I avoid closed cultural practices unless otherwise guided by a member of that culture, preferably one of their elders.

I am however human so if I accidentally engage in a close practice, please tell me.

I generally avoid ancestral worship or ancestral magick since many of my ancestors were on the problematic side of most historical conflicts.

I am too tired for bickering & pettiness, if you see something you dislike or disagree with then keep scrolling. I will not respond to hate-asks.

DNI the usual: terfs, racists etc. it's not that hard to simply not be a piece of shit.

DNI under 18 year olds who call yourselves Devotees outside of established religious communities (some cultures do allow children to be devotees under strict spiritual guidance & care, if this is you then please specify this)

I do not feel comfortable engaging with minors who commit themselves to a deep and personal relationship with deities as this requires consent to an unwritten contract (in many practices) and as such if you're not old enough to consent to a legal contract without adult guidance then you're not old enough to consent to being a devotee.

I do encourage you to become worshippers however to build a strong foundation with your chosen deities.

Please specify whether you are a reconstructionist pagan or neopagan, noting that I am Neopagan of over 2 decades and as such, I am best equipped to assist the latter.

Kemetic Diety Jar

This is just some basic items that each deity likes. The intention behind this is to in a deity jar (which can be worn as a necklace), as opposed to these being offerings.

These items can be used as something to put on an alter, but from the research I did, there are other things you would offer to them.

⚚ offering for Lord Hermes ⚚

FINALLY finished this only took me like forever.. but hey I can finally post something again !!

Lord Hermes is a god that's been really present in my life lately, which I'm extremely grateful for. He's been showing up around me and one of my now best friends has a really deep relationship with him , and I can't help but think he had his hands in it somehow <3 .

So I thought it's only fair to show my gratitude in the only way I can really do, by drawing something for him :3 I hope he likes it , you guys too of course!!

I also used this drawing as an opportunity to study Jean-Jacques Lagrenée 's painting titled " Mercury, Bearer of Abundance on Earth " :3

Your faith is not the opposite of Abrahamic religions. Don't focus your paganism on being against these religions. Pay attention to yourself and your religion after all!

Sorry but it really annoys me when people build their entire identity and religious life around the fact that Christianity or any other religion is bad, and I will hate everything in that faith.

Religion is not kpop fandoms fighting among themselves

advice for baby helpol

i wont really consider myself a 'baby helpol' since im much confident in my worship and have learnt, but ofc, im still learning. heres my advice to anyone who is starting out.

⁜ keep a journal with hymns, poems, and information on the gods. make it look pretty if thats what you want.

⁜ pick up on baking! its fun and they make great food offerings.

⁜ please dont use information from modern retellings (or worse.. 'feminist' retellings from booktok.) unless you have done your research and you know its factual.

⁜ wanna learn about the gods? are the books from that time too overwhelming? no fear, overly sarcastic productions is here (but keep in mind, you have to be over 14 and they have a non-religious, academic approach.)

⁜ get candles! they can be white, or have no scent, so as long as you have good intention.

⁜ no gemstones? go on a walk and collect rocks. rocks are means of honoring the gods.

⁜ broke and have no tarot cards? print them out, draw them

⁜ if you want to make tiny altars (for travelling or because youre in the closet), use matchstick boxes, tin boxes, etc! put a symbol of your deity and a prayer, and some matchsticks.

⁜ practice the pillars of hellenism.

⁜ honor the gods on their days, this can be like writing a poem for them, or drawing them, or making an offering.

⁜ you can worship more than one god, even if you dont work with them. youre a hermes devotee but youre praying to athena for that math exam? go for it! youre a phanes devotee but youre worshipping thanatos? go buckaroo

ill add more if i remember any, gods bless you!

Egypt gods and goddesses

The ancient Egyptians crafted a rich tapestry of myths, legends, and religious beliefs that revolved around a pantheon of gods and goddesses. These deities were deeply intertwined with every aspect of life, from creation and the afterlife to natural phenomena and societal order. Each god and goddess had unique attributes, roles, and stories, contributing to a complex and fascinating religious framework.

Major Egyptian Gods and Goddesses

Ra: The Sun God

Ra was the sun god and one of the most important deities in ancient Egypt. He was often depicted as a man with a falcon head, crowned with a solar disk. Ra was believed to travel across the sky during the day and journey through the underworld at night, bringing light and order to the world.

Osiris: The God of the Afterlife

Osiris was the god of the afterlife, resurrection, and fertility. Depicted as a mummified king holding a crook and flail, Osiris ruled over the underworld and judged the souls of the dead. He symbolized renewal and the eternal cycle of life and death.

Isis: The Goddess of Magic and Motherhood

Isis, wife of Osiris and mother of Horus, was revered for her magical prowess and nurturing nature. She was often portrayed as a woman wearing a throne-shaped crown or with a solar disk and cow horns. Isis was a protector of pharaohs and a symbol of maternal devotion.

Horus: The Sky God

Horus, the falcon-headed god, was associated with the sky, kingship, and protection. He was considered the divine embodiment of the ruling pharaoh. Horus' mythological battle with Seth, the god of chaos, symbolized the struggle between order and disorder.

Seth: The God of Chaos

Seth, or Set, was the god of chaos, storms, and desert. He was often depicted as a creature with a long, curved snout and upright ears. Though associated with disruption, Seth also had protective qualities and was sometimes revered for his strength.

Anubis: The God of Mummification

Anubis, depicted as a jackal or a man with a jackal head, was the god of mummification and the protector of graves. He guided souls to the afterlife and oversaw the weighing of the heart ceremony, which determined a soul’s fate in the afterlife.

Hathor: The Goddess of Love and Music

Hathor was the goddess of love, beauty, music, and fertility. Represented as a cow or a woman with cow ears, Hathor was a symbol of joy and motherhood. She was also considered a protector of women.

Symbolism and Worship

The Egyptian deities were often associated with animals, reflecting their attributes and roles. Temples were built across Egypt to honor these gods and goddesses, serving as centers for worship and ritual. Priests performed daily rituals, offerings, and festivals to maintain divine favor.

Ordinary Egyptians also worshiped these deities through personal prayers, amulets, and household shrines. Many gods and goddesses had localized cults, but some, like Ra and Isis, gained widespread reverence.

Legacy of the Egyptian Pantheon

The stories of Egypt gods and goddesses have transcended time, influencing art, literature, and popular culture. Their mythology provides insights into ancient Egyptian values, fears, and aspirations, offering a window into one of history’s most enduring civilizations.
