Her husband, Ahmed, migrated a week before the genocide, but he cannot provide for his family, as he's still waiting for his asylum application to be accepted. His family is living in Gaza in the worst conditions, without access to proper food, water, shelter or medicine

We went through a difficult day, there was shelling near our displacement site in Deir al-Balah. The situation here is tragic, although we survived the shelling, we did not escape hunger and the bitter cold. Food prices are very expensive, the price of a kilo of flour ranges from 6 dollar All the necessities of life are very expensive. Also, when it rains, water seeps into us and we are exposed to drowning, as happened the previous two days.

Yesterday the temperature was very low in America, it reached -11 degrees.

It was very cold, as my friends in America told me... ، I hope everyone feels warm and none of you get cold.

Meanwhile, you can imagine that the Palestinians in Gaza are also exposed to low temperatures, but the difference is that they live in tents and there are no ways to heat them or blankets to protect them from the cold.

On top of this I want everyone to remember that 1. Many people do not speak English or don’t have a good grasp on it and are using a template or copy pasting things they’ve seen (this is often why so many messages are similar and use a lot of the same words and phrases), there’s already been notable incidents of people copy pasting thinking they’re saying something very different from whatever they’ve pasted and being labeled fraud etc over it 2. Imagine what you yourself would be saying if you were in this position for even a second

I have been in touch with Ahmed (24) who is desperately seeking help to feed his family in Gaza and pay to continue his education through online courses.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of many donors his campaign has raised enough to cover the €180 out of €200 for the first installment due by December 22nd (the full amount raised is split between covering the cost of his education and feeding his family)! However, he is still missing the remaining €20 for the first installment and the €250 needed for the second installment due in January. Without this money, he will not be able to continue his education, which is a great source of stress for him.

I can't lie, I find it very odd that posts cautioning people against donating to individual* campaigns and promoting the idea of supporting mutual aid efforts and community kitchens in Gaza can rack up 10k notes--while a post promoting a community kitchen (that I can personally vouch for) struggles to get 1k notes, and has barely pulled in a couple hundred dollars over the past week.

I actively try to avoid using guilting tactics in fundraising, but this is weird to me. It's like people are using these posts as an excuse not to do things they already didn't want to do anyway, rather than actually taking their recommendations on board...

MAQMAP is a community kitchen aiming to support families in the Mawasi Al-Qarara area.

Mohammed is planning to distribute food parcels, each containing one liter of vegetable oil, one kilo of sugar, one kilo of rice, one kilo of lentils, one kilo of pasta, and a can of sauce, to the 70 families in Mawasi Al-Qarara camp later this week.

Please if anyone could donate or even reblog if you can’t , Morgan is my Seizure and cluster headache alert dog and she tore her CCL and I could use all the help I can get as I’m limited income (though I’m trying to make full time working happen through social security programs)

We haven’t heard back from the grant yet so we are applying to a few more just incase because we don’t want her to have to wait more than a month for the surgery. If anyone has any info on other national grants for help with Morgan’s surgery. Or feel free to share/ donate if you can!

Ok I applied for a bunch of grants today to try to get the rest of the surgery covered so we can book it. We’ve got just over a grand pulled together between GoFundMe and family donating and what I’m pulling in.

If yall could please please keep sharing and spreading the word. She is in so much pain and can’t have any NSAIDS so we have to ride it out until surgery day and she comes home with different meds. We appreciate every like, share, donation. Yall are incredible. I love this dog more than life and she deserves to run and play and come to work again.

UPDATE: NEW LINK! Yahya and his family were displaced by the IOF, and are currently residing in Deir al-Balah, south-central Gaza.

Life as displaced Gazans was already extremely difficult for them. Food is very scarce, and their living conditions leave them exposed to the elements. Here is the frequent condition of their tent now that the winter rains have come:

Then, Yahya’s father was injured. Some cartilage was damaged in his neck, and doctors say he requires IMMEDIATE surgery to avoid permanent paralysis.

Yahya and his family previously had another campaign, but it was suddenly shut down by GFM with no explanation. They have created a new one, but it has EXTREMELY LOW FUNDS.

The surgery is a stifling €15,000 euros (about $15,729 USD). Yahya and his family have no hope of paying for it without your help.

I am currently watching an elderly loved one lose their mobility, and it is an extremely heartbreaking and isolating situation. I cannot imagine what Yahya and his family are going through, having no social or financial support and only minimal medical care.

Please give what you can to this family. You are their only hope to save their beloved father’s mobility!

Tuesday, January 7th: Hello, everyone. I’m Gem, a bi, mentally ill, and disabled woman in desperate need of help as I'm struggling to keep my utilities on and pay off my debt!!

This isn't how I imagined my New Year starting, and I apologize for asking for help again; but as most of you know from my previous posts, I have been struggling quite a lot to make ends meet while on welfare benefits and due to my rent arrears and ever-increasing debt. And to be quite honest, these past few months have been absolute hell for me, and with no other income, I've been relying on the kindness of others to get by.

However, I am in desperate need of that kindness again as my utilities are on their emergency credit, and I don't receive my welfare until the 31st, and currently, my utilities have £4.97 in them, which won't last until then, and to make things worse, due to bills/charges my PayPal is overdrawn by £234!!!

Again, I know this is a lot to ask, especially in January, but if anyone could spare any amount to help me, even if it’s just £1/$1/€1, it would save my life, and sharing definitely helps just as much.
