The ongoing war has devastated my family. We’ve lost 25 family members—each one a beloved part of our lives, taken too soon. I miss them deeply—their laughter, their presence, their love. Every day is a reminder of this unimaginable loss.

We are now facing daily challenges to survive—things that most people take for granted, like food, clean water, and a safe place to sleep. The harsh realities of life here have replaced our dreams with the constant fight for survival.

Our Current Situation:

The term kala pani refers to the taboo crossing of large expanses of water — in this case the Atlantic Ocean to come to the Caribbean — Mehta recasts this crossing as a positive and empowering move. According to the Hindu system of belief, crossing these large bodies of water meant “contamination and cultural defilement”, due to the ways in which such crossings disrupted caste, class, and tradition.

@anas-basilgaza is a highschool graduate with dreams of pursuing a degree in e-business and management and building a career. He enrolled in Khan Younis training center before it became a shelter for displaced palestinians and was bombed on January 24th 2024.

For 10 months he and his family had to live in cramped tents in Rafah where survival became a daily struggle. The famine which has ravaged northern Gaza has now started spreading south and basic aid and requirements are not being met. After 14 months of ethnic cleansing Gaza is probably in it's worst condition

I urge you, to please donate if you can. Donations to the fundraiser have been stagnating for the past few weeks, currently only 44% of their goal has been reached or roughly €12,808 / €29K

Please let's try to at least get the fundraiser to €13,500K by January.
