Guidelines for submission:

Posts must be

-at least 1 year old

-at least 10k notes

exceptions will be made if there is a good reason (for example: if it's funny to break my own rules)

would prefer submissions via DM but tagging is fine too

Queue is pretty long so don't expect to see your submission for a few months

Good news! I have a new job.

Bad news, I don't start for three weeks.

Worse news, while my UC application went through, I only received a small amount month 1 and won't be receiving anywhere close to enough to cover rent and bills for the next month and a half.

The end is in sight, but if anyone can help keep me on my feet for the next month with a Ko-Fi donation it'd be a huge help.

dug out my folder from when i tried to collect a set in the sun and moon era, got a decent amount of it, looked into how much it would cost me to complete the set

set contains charizard, pikachu, and gardevoir

set is infamous for having one of the worst pull rates in the history of the tcg

tbh i am very curious what the point of the cap on this being £830pcm for a single adult occupying a 1-bed flat is when literally the cheapest you'll find even the tiniest shittiest studio flat for in this city is £700pcm even before bills

Misty remains the only card in the game that is literally broken because of shit like this.

I'm glad the current meta since Mythical Island dropped has seen less Water decks in general so it's not as much of a constant menace, but still.

tbh greninja probably isn't the best combo with those, the chip damage you get off water shuriken isn't gonna be a huge help with the damage those two are dealing out, plus as a stage 2 pokemon it'll be taking up 6 entire deck slots.

Golduck is a good substitute for Starmie EX and probably a good idea to include anyway. Bruxish is a good pick to fill space, I've seen some people use Vaporeon to good effect too.

tbh Weezing/Scolipede is my go-to deck and now and it fucking demolishes both Mewtwo EX and Celebi EX decks. Does solidly against most of the rest of the meta as well.

surprised at the number of people in the notes still using literally any other Dark deck. you realize Scolipede is giving 130 damage off of two energy, right? the only downside is that it's a three-stage, but given that it oneshots virtually every main threat in current meta and only needs Weezing to hit once first to clear out the rest.

I'm just gonna drop the deck list.

  • Venipede X2
  • Whirlipede X2
  • Scolipede X2
  • Koffing (GA) X2
  • Weezing (GA) X2
  • Meowth X1
  • Koga X2
  • Professor's Research X2
  • Pokeball X2
  • Potion X2
  • X Speed X1

Lead with Meowth if possible, this deck is very draw dependent and it's absolutely worth filtering down the deck. You can usually safely pivot it onto the bench after a couple of turns but it's worth using it as a suicide lead, the deck can afford to lose a point since it has no EX cards.

Focus on putting energy on Venipede, the damage Koffing/Weezing can do via direct attacks is usually pointless if it's something Scolipede will oneshot after a Gas Leak.

Try to keep a full bench, this decks gets hit hard by Red Card. Be careful of Beheeyem if doing this though.

Taking all that on board, as long as you don't get a really unlucky draw you'll win like 90% of the time.
