This holiday season, please consider supporting Dahnoun Mutual Aid’s campaign to provide winter clothes and blankets in Gaza. Dahnoun is a Gazawi-run grassroots initiative that has been providing thousands of people in multiple areas of Gaza with water, food, baby milk, diapers, tents, and other supplies since July. With your donations, they are able to buy blankets and clothes in bulk at a reduced price and give them out at no cost to people sheltering in displacement camps. Their Chuffed campaign is linked above, and you can find their Venmo and Paypal in addition to documentation of the past several months’ aid initiatives on Instagram. The blankets and clothes fundraiser is detailed in a recent post: instagram.com/dahnounmutualaid

Re: the popular questions
Starting to think it's just straight up incorrect analysis to view terfs as even viewing trans women as men, and that they hate trans women for their masculinity (and by extention being characterized by hatred for men and masculinity). Instead, i think you have to view their comments on trans women and their bodies as intentionally and forcefully masculinizing a woman, excluding her from womanhood for not fitting into white women's beauty and body standards. Many people have noted that this is similair to how black women are historically and today masculinized in society, and indeed terfs commonly attack women of color for similair things. If it is about hating men it's noticable that they don't talk about men the same way, "men" are only ever a threat if she's a woman. Any other man is allowed to be an ally to the terf movement if he's "protecting women" (by excluding certain types of woman). It's misogyny, it's transmisogyny, everything about this structurally replicates the ways women are mistreated by society generally, and excluded from femininity, just lazerfocused on targeting trans women.
When Black women are forcefully masculinized, we understand this as misogynoir, we understand this as an intersection of misogyny and race, not some societal hatred for men. We understand Black women who are targeted by masculinization as still fundamentally being viewed and treated as women, just not women worthy of the protection of white womanhood. Why is masculinization any different for trans women, why do we not see this as masculinization?

Half the time when i post tummy there’s a conspicuous tiny increase of followers

see, objectification and especially sexualization, i think, are by themselves morally neutral. the interesting things are just when you apply gender, race, disability, etc. to those things and observe how these two things interact with said identity, who gets objectified and for what purpose, who gets sexualized and who doesn't. In this essay about harem anime,

Welp
i think i understand fanservice shows. like imagine if there was a show that was like an aimless slice of life but also every supporting character was a fat guy who constantly has his belly showing and it jiggles a bit every time they move & maybe they have fur too and im the protagonist
what would the trope archetypes be? like one guy would be older and more muscular to corner the dad issues market, one guy would be younger and more geek-coded & notably flabbier, what types of fat men would exist if there were fat men harem animes
been brainstorming nonstop with deer. there'd be
- dad (modestly chubby, muscular)
- nerd (flabby & younger, visible double chin)
- stinky jock (all muscle all fat, wears clothes that are too small for him on purpose)
- slob (droopy belly)
- gourmet chef (perfectly round rigid belly)
- 500 lb gainer
- generic wolf exactly in the middle of every spectrum who is insecure about being fat & gets help from the protagonist
the plot would be barebones and aimless, just centering on the motif of food & relationships through food. since its a harem anime there'd be softcore scenes of the characters eating together in place of them fucking. the bellies make metal sheet flapping noises when they jiggle
Thinking about the study on autism and trauma that concluded that it’s impossible to study the link between them because there is no controlled group of untraumatized autistic people, and thinking about all of the trans women I know. I have so much love in my heart for every trans woman and I’m sorry that it’s not enough. I’m sorry that even the luckiest of us still get nicked and that we’re all carrying scars that we’ll feel every day until we die. I promise you that it gets easier. I wish I could tell you that it goes away. I wish we lived in a world where you didn’t have to try so hard. But I promise you it’s worth trying, okay? Promise me that you’ll try
We're all just a big pile of people who fell down, were kicked when they fell down, then got blamed for it all and kicked again as punishment. And I just think that's a tragedy no words or pictures could depict. I hope there's a world beyond this one that takes in folks like us, because this world didn't.
We don’t have to, or get to, wait for a better world. We have each other and it’s all we’re going to get, and there is so much love and joy to be found in each other. We can build lives worth living here and now, and we have to. We have to! We have to show every girl who is scared and hurt and alone that it will not be that way forever. That she can love and be loved and protect and be protected.
We are the only shelter we will ever get and I truly wish it didn’t have to be that way. But there is so much comfort and love and beauty and intimacy and happiness to be had in each other this way. We can be the home we never got to have. Take my hand and let me show you how.
really hard not to see the redefinition of TERF from "feminist who wants to exclude trans women from feminism and women's spaces" to "feminist who isnt niceys to men" as, in part, conscious violence, because you've managed to call trans women men, to make our oppression about yourself, and to call us a hate group directed at us, all in one. genuinely makes me want to hurt someone.

fat jock is a popular archetype, wears gym clothes that are too small and actively eats to get fatter on purpose but still exercises a lot for the sweat enjoyers in the audience. Varying ratio's of muscular to fat, but always has a pudgy middle. I think the fat guy harem wouldn't be complete without one character who's just straight up a gainer also
there also NEEDS to be one character who's really good at cooking big meals
