top five are into the woods, the marvin trilogy, merrily we roll along, the mad ones, and some like it hot ! ive only seen one live musical in my life, big fish, bc i live in a rly isolated small town with an almost non existent theater scene. but my first favorite movie was mary poppins and i watched it all the time as kid so im gonna count that ^_^

HI ATLAS so my rehearsal was cancelled today but i stayed behind a lil to help with the set thingy and we were trying to fix our like hadestown turn table round thingy

the main issue is that the wheels keep coming off the track and the different wood circles keep rubbing against each other. but when heller get it on the tracks it work rlly good!! and we’re moving it by putting these pipes into the holes on the side and the workers r literally pushing the round lmao i’m very excited we move into the actual theater in like a month . very behind on choreo and blocking but it’ll be fineeee ^_^

THATS SO FUCKING COOOOOL i love set stuff i dont get to work on it nearly enough <- has been stuck in a handsewing part of costuming for days and is maybe in hell. also ooh cool i hope u guys can catch up on choreo and blocking and stuff we r starting that for much ado next week i think! im excited even though im gonna need to not be in the room bc im in costume hell and also i cant watch my director direct my favorite play bc i will disagree with every single thing she does. not her fault, i am simply obsessed with this play

Sometimes Two-Bit will just stare at Marcia

while she’s doing her homework at her desk while he sits on her bed, he’ll just stare. His eyes are soft and he’s sure if she were to look back he would soften so much her melt to a puddle.

when she does sit up and look at him, he doesn’t melt. He only blushes like a teenage boy (I wonder why) and looks down

she’s just so pretty

it doesn’t matter what she wears or how she wears it, he’ll look at her with full adoration

gonna krill myself. today was her birthday and she sent me a photo of her outfit and i almost fell off my bed bc shes so hot

i would just like it to be noted that ace CLOCKED darry’s shit when he was with paul. he walked into the curtis house late one night to find ace looking him up and down, arms crossed. she just shakes her head and goes “at least fix your hair before you come in” then walks out the door, giving him a pat on the shoulder.

he goes back to the curtis house after driving marcia home after the first recital he goes to and hes like “guys you have to come with me to the next one it was amazing and marcia was amazing and shes so talented and it was so cool and did i mention it was amazing and so was marcia? who is my girlfriend?” and everyone is like “ok two-bit thats great buddy” but secretly they are all just so happy to see him this happy about something while not being drunk. and they do agree to go to the next one. and when they go, two-bit leads them to their seats with a kind of excitement they havent seen from him in a long time. and he shushes them and tries so hard not to make a scene. they are all a little confused because two-bit has never been one to shy away from being disruptive in public. but then the house lights go down and the stage lights go up and the recital starts. and they see how he looks at marcia while she dances and they get it. and they make fun of him when as soon as the house lights come back on at the end, he is sprinting out of the theater to grab the flowers he got for her and bring them to her backstage. but they are so happy for him. and maybe they dont go to every recital, but its not uncommon to see a few of them sitting with him in the audience every once in awhile
