frowny face: thursted isn't closed minded and they enjoy learning, but they are stubborn in the sense that they have their own way of doing things and don't like being told what to do, especially when it comes to their specialties like making jewelry and tools

apple: i have yet to think about this a lot but the story takes place in italy near tuscany, so thursted is from somewhere in the area but not necessarily there. i'll do some pondering
