u know those little 20 questions toy things. i brought one to my tattoo appointment & i busted it out 2 distract me from the pain bc im a wimp & i was makin it guess a pickle but none of the questions it asked were really applicable to a pickle & i was periodically askin my mom (7 feet away from me gettin the same tattoo) for input & it asks me "is it independent" & i ask her "is a pickle independent" & everyone in the place (like 8 people) just stops and contemplates the independence of a pickle for a minute

we were gettin the same tattoo bc my uncle wanted to get the tattoo my grandpa had but nobody could find a good picture of it & we drove like an hour and a half to see the guy who did it to see if he had it in his books but we couldnt find it and nobody in the family had a consistent memory of what it looked like so it came down to me with a bunch of old blurry pictures from the 70s and a magnifying glass trying to recreate the tattoo my damn self & i was like "this has been such a hassle we should just All get the goddamn tattoo" and so we did .

hey honest question, did anybody have GOOD stuff happen to them in 2024? cause it was really bad for me and for most people i know, so it would be nice to hear about anything that's been going WELL for any of you. even if it's small stuff. just to know there's light out there.

#it was very stressful But i started taking an art class#which was provoked by an absolutely insane mental state little bitty breakdown#& its been really nice & theres a cat there & i made a new friend there#& its a nice environment & ive been working on my skills & enjoying it a lot#it starts up again this week & im excited to go back

i didnt even know there was a sequel😭😭😭 i saw the first one one singular time & like it wasnt my favoritest ever but i thought it was good. i remember being impressed by it

obsessed with the scene in bobby deerfield where she tells him her whole long bizarre made up story about how her dad died and laid a child like an egg & shes like yelling the whole thing up a hill at him while simultaneously having a separate conversation with the salami guy & then asks him if he believes her & he just goes
