Recently there has been a fall in engagement with Palestinian content on tumblr, and for those of us who are helping Palestinians fundraise it is very obvious that this has happened directly after the very public smear campaigns, carried out by some racist users with significant followings.
It seems half the site somehow found it easier to believe in the horseshit about “belgian scam rings” and “russian botnets” in an effort to justify their apathy towards genocide victims, and the other half seems to think that everything is over and that the evil was defeated just because some racist bloggers got run off the site after giving half-hearted apologies that did nothing to mitigate the damage they had done.
THERE ARE PEOPLE STILL IN DIRE NEED OF HELP !! There are people who are still getting death threats from zionists every day and have to stay on this godforsaken website because their gofundmes haven't reached their endgoals yet...
I'm going to keep this brief:
- Siraj's ( @siraj2024 ) family including his parents, and his five siblings and their families were displaced during the recent attacks by IOF on deir al balah
- This means there are now 23 family members that Siraj is the sole provider for at the moment.
- 10 of those members are young children.
- Siraj's wife, Halima, is having a terrible flareup of eczema and his children are suffering from skin infections and badly need medical attention.
- This whole family has been living in unhygienic conditions in 2 tents, packed like sardines during this heatwave, leading to spread of infections between them as well– all during a time where hygiene products have become unaffordable due to the israeli blockade, and when water has become scarce, and kids cant even receive life saving vaccinations during polio epidemic.
- All this while everyday siraj risks his life trying to reach out to us from an internet point amidst violence and shelling from the IOF in what once was a “humanitarian safe zone”, even more desperately than before because–

I'll keep this short. I wish more people here will continue to help Hazem's family (verified as #281 on the vetted evacuation fund spreadsheet). Hazem hasn't been able to go back to visit his family since 2018, when he left to study dentistry to secure a better future for them. Now the family is trapped in Jabalia and the military situation is escalating DAILY.
Hazem wanted me to share this story and photos of his brother, Hamza, who is an accomplished solar power engineer.
Hamza pursued a vocational diploma in solar energy, and after completing his studies, he started working with various companies in Gaza. But this wasn’t enough for his ambition. He then enrolled in university again, where he studied multimedia web technology. Alongside his studies, he continued working in the field of solar energy, combining academic knowledge with practical experience. Despite the war destroying his dreams, Hamza never gave up. After the university allowed online studies for some courses, he has been trying to seize every opportunity to access the internet to download his study materials and keep up with his education despite the difficult circumstances. Often, he asks me to download his study materials and send them to him due to the ongoing internet issues in Gaza. Hamza has been and continues to be a symbol of resilience and perseverance. He embodies the spirit of challenge and dedication to learning and working even in the toughest of conditions. Your prayers and support mean the world to him.

If you follow my blog, you probably know Hazem Khalil [1][2][3]. He is a dentistry student in Belgium who has been fundraising to save his family back in the Jabalia Refugee Camp, Gaza.
I am here to bring to your attention his close friend Ahmed Khader. Ahmed and Hazem were neighbors and friends before they moved to Belgium. Ahmed (@ahmedpalestine) is in a similar situation - he left Gaza to pursue higher education years ago and now has to support his family from afar as they endure the unimaginable. Originally from the north, they are now stuck in al-Maghazi camp in Deir al-Balah, an area now being heavily targeted by IOF airstikes and a tank invasion.
Ahmed tells me his family is faced with a truly wretched dilemma: evacuate to another area or stay put and try to survive. It's a false choice. They will face bombings, poverty, tank invasions, disease, and starvation no matter where they go. Because genocide does not allow people to make choices. It aims to annihilate them entirely.
Ahmed's campaign has yet to raise 2000 euros. Let's get him to 5000 as soon as we can, and consistently support him going forward. This money will allow his family to finance both their continued survival in central Gaza and any evacuations they are forced into in the future. Through your contribution they may be able to ward off annihilation for one more day.

Hi guys i was reached out to by Mahmoud ( @ma7moudgaza2 ) to share an important message on his behalf.
Please pay attention, don't look away.
I am Mahmoud, 20 years old, a student in the College of Engineering and Information Technology at Al-Azhar University. I aspire to become a giant engineer in the world of technology, but with this war, Israel erased my dreams and ambitions after bombing my university and stopping education 💔
And yet I did not give in to despair or devastation after everything that happened. I continued to work and study in our tent despite the internet and electricity outages, and despite the extreme heat, I did not give up 🙌
But my optimism isn't enough. The occupation destroyed our home and all our memories, so I created this campaign to help us with a little money to rebuild our house, which costs $60,000.
I am humbly asking you for only 25,000. Recently, thanks to your support and donations, I obtained $1,000, and here I am sharing it with you in order to complete my goal.
Please support me so I may rebuild our house and start a new life for me and my family 🙏🏼🍉
Just as it is important to support and donate evacuation funds of palestinians who need to get away from the violence and have access to the vital medical care they cant get anymore in Gaza due to the destruction, it is equally important to support people like Mahmoud who wish to remain in Gaza and rebuild.
With the attacks by the occupation forces on Gaza's public infrastructure, however, it is a very very difficult situation to navigate. Currently, since the IOF has destroyed their fresh water supply and access to food through either destruction or the blockade- Mahmoud and his family are facing a terrible water and food scarcity. They face frequent electricity outages and are at constant risk of illness and with the hospitals in Gaza destroyed, they have very few options left for medical care. They literally cannot afford to get ill.
They need these funds now more than ever.
To make this inhumane situation even worse, tumblr has been deleting blogs of Palestinians who have been coming here to reach out to us and raise funds during their time of dire need. Mahmoud's previous blog had been deleted, which had briefly stalled the progress on his previous fundraiser.
But still, despite all these challenges he's facing, he has not given up. So I ask of you to please believe in him just as much, and support him in this time of difficulty.
At the moment, his fundraiser stands at only $1,005 / 25,000 and he still has a long, long way to go.

I am Mahmoud, 20 years old, a student in the College of Engineering and Information Technology at Al-Azhar University. I aspire to become a giant engineer in the world of technology, but with this war, Israel erased my dreams and ambitions after bombing my university and stopping education 💔
And yet I did not give in to despair or devastation after everything that happened. I continued to work and study in our tent despite the internet and electricity outages, and despite the extreme heat, I did not give up 🙌
But my optimism isn't enough. The occupation destroyed our home and all our memories, so I created this campaign to help us with a little money to rebuild our house, which costs $60,000.
I am humbly asking you for only 25,000. Recently, thanks to your support and donations, I obtained $1,000, and here I am sharing it with you in order to complete my goal.
Please support me so I may rebuild our house and start a new life for me and my family 🙏🏼🍉
Just as it is important to support and donate evacuation funds of palestinians who need to get away from the violence and have access to the vital medical care they cant get anymore in Gaza due to the destruction, it is equally important to support people like Mahmoud who wish to remain in Gaza and rebuild.
With the attacks by the occupation forces on Gaza's public infrastructure, however, it is a very very difficult situation to navigate. Currently, since the IOF has destroyed their fresh water supply and access to food through either destruction or the blockade- Mahmoud and his family are facing a terrible water and food scarcity. They face frequent electricity outages and are at constant risk of illness and with the hospitals in Gaza destroyed, they have very few options left for medical care. They literally cannot afford to get ill.
They need these funds now more than ever.
To make this inhumane situation even worse, tumblr has been deleting blogs of Palestinians who have been coming here to reach out to us and raise funds during their time of dire need. Mahmoud's previous blog had been deleted, which had briefly stalled the progress on his previous fundraiser.
But still, despite all these challenges he's facing, he has not given up. So I ask of you to please believe in him just as much, and support him in this time of difficulty.
At the moment, his fundraiser stands at only $1,005 / 25,000 and he still has a long, long way to go.
