Layla's story:

I am Laila. I am 24 years old, married, and a mother of a one-and-a-half-year-old girl named Sally.

I am waiting for my second child, Omar, who is due to be born in a few months. 

My family's house was bombed while we were inside it. I was next to my cousin who was martyred in this bombing shortly before the bombing.

I took my daughter Sally to sleep in another room, and the bombing happened. We survived miraculously.

My daughter, my husband, and my mother were completely under the rubble. My heart broke when I saw her in this state.

Help Layla get a proper phone in Gaza

Layla @laylaayman-blog has had her phone destroyed by her house's structure falling and by being under the rubble, thankfully Layla and her family survived the attacks but she will need a new phone to communicate, and as you may know prices of food in Gaza are horrifying, so please imagine what a phone must cost.

Layla's family fundraiser on gofundme has not received a donation until 19 hours ago. Please, if you have anything to give, dont be selfish and donate to their fundraiser. And if you can donate, do the bare minimum to contribute and reblog, share with family and friends and spread the word.

Due to the high prices for food, famine, bombardment and constant displacement. It has put Laila and her children in danger. Laila used to live a peaceful life before the genocide, where it ruined and took many lives when it came, including hers. Donating and sharing helps a lot even if it's just a little!! She lost her job on October 7th last year, and she was forced to leave her home for her safety. She hasn't been back to it, but it's very likely that her house has also been destroyed, and she's lost family members to the bombings

Now she's pregnant and struggling to provide for her daughter. The price of everything in Gaza is extremely high, and she's lost her source of income. She and her family have been deprived of safety, their mental and physical states are in really bad conditions

This is Sally, Laila‘s dear daughter. They are from Gaza and have been displaced over 10 times. They have lost multiple family members and are living crowded in Laila’s grandmother’s house. Laila is also pregnant and her family has been struggling to survive in this genocide and are in desperate need of help.

Imagine being a child in Gaza, living the constant threat of bombs and attacks that strip you of your childhood, imagine being a pregnant mother who just wants safety for her family.
