You are right on both points. This was a quote from a socialist meeting after the state militia was called out to attack striking quarrymen and their families in Lemont, Illinois, with two workers being shot dead.

Ancaps are not anarchists. Around 99% of ancaps and all boogaloo boys are fascists, and have nothing to do with anarchism. This is not a blog by real person who actually holds these dumbass views, this is a fascist trying to muddy the waters, and probably hoping to find some young and uninformed kids interested in anarchism in the hope of grooming them for some shitty fascist cult.
Fascists love to co-opt the language and aesthetics of anarchism (also of communism, see the dumbass "patriotic socialists" in the USA) because fascism is pathetic and repugnant to most people.
It's just an attempt to lure in uninformed or vulnerable people who would be turned off by overt fascism, but thats what these types of groups groom their members for.

Every year since 2013, the International Solidarity Week for Anarchist Prisoners has taken place from August 23 - 30. We have chosen August 23rd as the beginning because on this day in 1927, the Italian-American anarchists Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti were executed in prison. Convicted on suspicion of murdering two men during an armed robbery at a shoe factory in Massachusetts. Their arrest was part of a campaign waged by the American government against anarchists. There was no evidence from the state and so the two were executed for their strong anarchist beliefs.
We call on everyone to organize actions in solidarity with anarchist prisoners.
Do what you think is necessary.

In the spirit of encouraging resistance to the fascist upsurge, Heckle presents eyewitness testimony from a comrade of ours, Joe, who took part in the anti-fascist counter-demonstration in Bristol on Saturday 3rd of August. By their quick thinking and tenacious courage, Joe and his comrades blocked a horde of fascists from breaking into a hotel housing asylum seekers and committing a pogrom. Read all about it in Joe’s own words below.
The thing that made all of us feel really strongly that we absolutely had to hold the line was that when we got to the hotel, we could see, looking out of the windows, families of asylum seekers and refugees, including weans, kids, looking out. And we were trying to chant things at them like “you’re welcome here”, “we love you and we’re here to support you”. And then it sort of dawned on me after all the violence had died down that a lot of those kids would probably have seen what happened with the fascists charging at the hotel and I just can’t even imagine how scared they would have been, it’s… It doesn’t really bear thinking about, about what would have happened if we hadn’t been there, and there were no police, and the fascists had been able to get into the- I don’t really want to think about what would have happened if the fascists had been able to get into the hotel.
If you are in the UK and are at all able to go, or get together some friends and get to one of the counter-demos across the UK tomorrow (august 7), please do so! There will be many others there, and we've seen over and over there is safety in numbers. We can't depend on the cops, we have to defend our communities ourselves!
If you've ever wondered what you'd be doing during the Battle of Cable Street, or how the Germans could have let Kristallnacht happen, this is what you would have been doing. this is it. this is what antifascism is. Putting yourselves bodily between the fascists and the innocent children, women and men they want to eradicate.
For those of us watching this in horror from outside of the UK; there's a recession coming, and these kinda pogroms WILL come to our streets as well.
THIS is the time to get organized, BEFORE the pogroms are happening in our streets too. Get to know your neighbours, get involved with your neighbourhood's community centers if there are any, get to know your local antifascist orgs, anarchist groups/social centers/squats, communist orgs, pro-palestine groups. You dont have to agree with them on everything, you dont have to join, you dont have to go to every meeting, but just make sure you get to know some of the people who you can rely on to be on the right side when push comes to shove.
Make sure You are one of the people that you see on the news defending an asylum-seekers hotel, or helping repair a local mosque, instead of one of the many people watching it on TV going "someone should do something about this".
Only WE can protect our communities!
