January 2, 2023 - Two fascists set themselves on fire trying to burn down a Servicio de Inmigracion building in Bakersfield, California.

The business helps immigrants work with the immigration process and pay their income taxes. The fire didn’t spread and was quickly put out by the fire department. [video]

January 2 2020 - Anti-capitalist protesters in Antofagasta, Chile, are often joined by riot dogs; friendly street dogs who join up with protest marches to bark at the police, whom they hate. Antofa’s protesters got worried after they saw that one popular dog comrade, El Vaquita (Little Cow), looked injured when they saw him walking around town. Sadly, he wouldn’t let anyone catch him, so el Vaquita’s comrades came up with a plan.

They got to work and organised a fake protest march from revolution square to a local vet’s office. The plan worked and the riot dogs, including el Vaquita, joined up with the march, eager to start harassing some more riot police with their human comrades.

Arriving at their destination, the protesters and vets managed to keep el Vaquita calm and sedate him. The vets looked the wounded dog over and determined that his injuries were caused by buckshot from a riot police shotgun, but luckily they were able to patch el Vaquita up again.

After a few weeks of rest and recuperation he was back to his old revolutionary, cop-hating self and has since been a frequent sight at the front lines of the anti-government protests! [link]/[video]/[video]/[video]

also, at the March 8 Women’s Day demonstration, right before the covid quarantine, el Vaquita found another little riot cow friend, leading to these social distancing tips specifically for inhabitants of Antofagasta:

so the dutch are very, very enthusiastic about fireworks. as a result new year's is usually not a great time for pets or people sensitive to noise. we've recently moved to a less populated area and expected our dog to have a nicer time with the fireworks being more distant. anyway today i've learned that in this part of the countryside people like to spend the day firing homemade carbide cannons built out of old milk jugs

Obituary issued by the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine

We mourn the comrade fighter and field commander Musa Al-Kafarna "Abu Firas" who was martyred in the battles to confront the Zionist aggression on the city of Beit Hanoun

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine mourns to the masses of our Palestinian people and our Arab and Islamic nation its comrade fighter and field commander Musa Muhammad Al-Kafarna "Abu Firas", who was martyred on Saturday, December 28, 2024, while confronting the brutal Zionist aggression on the city of Beit Hanoun.

The martyr comrade Musa Al-Kafarna, one of the most prominent field commanders of the Popular Front in the northern Gaza Strip.

He was born in 1974 in the city of Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip, and grew up in the bosom of a struggling family that carried the concerns of the homeland and its just cause.

He joined the ranks of the Popular Front since his early childhood, and participated in all stages of the Palestinian struggle, starting from the first intifada through all the battles of steadfastness that our people fought.

Comrade Musa was distinguished by his courage and steadfastness in confronting the occupation, as he participated in confronting the Zionist invasions of the Gaza Strip, and recorded a heroic presence in the battles of 2006 and 2014, and was one of the heroes who wrote the "Epic of the Flood of Al-Aqsa" in confronting the brutal aggression.

Despite the brutal bombing and genocide that the city of Beit Hanoun was subjected to, the martyred comrade remained steadfast in his land, fighting side by side with his people and comrades, until the moment of his martyrdom, to confirm that resistance is not just a choice but a path of life chosen by heroes.

We in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine pledge to our martyr leader Musa Al-Kafarna and all the martyrs of our people that we will continue their path until achieving complete victory and comprehensive liberation, and that their pure blood will remain a torch that lights the path of struggle for future generations.

Glory and immortality to the martyred comrade Musa Al-Kafarna and all the martyrs of Palestine.

بيان نعي صادر عن الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين

ننعي الرفيق المقاتل والقائد الميداني موسى الكفارنة “أبا فراس” الذي استشهد في معارك التصدي للعدوان الصهيوني على مدينة بيت حانون

تنعى الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين إلى جماهير شعبنا الفلسطيني وأمتنا العربية والإسلامية رفيقها المناضل والقائد الميداني موسى محمد الكفارنة “أبا فراس”، الذي ارتقى شهيداً يوم السبت الموافق 28 ديسمبر 2024، أثناء تصديه للعدوان الصهيوني الوحشي على مدينة بيت حانون.

الرفيق الشهيد موسى الكفارنة، أحد أبرز القادة الميدانيين للجبهة الشعبية في شمال القطاع.

وُلد عام 1974 في مدينة بيت حانون شمال قطاع غزة، وترعرع في كنف عائلة مناضلة تحمل هموم الوطن وقضيته العادلة.

التحق بصفوف الجبهة الشعبية منذ نعومة أظفاره، وشارك في كافة مراحل النضال الفلسطيني، بدايةً من الانتفاضة الأولى مروراً بكل معارك الصمود التي خاضها شعبنا.

تميّز الرفيق موسى بشجاعته وصلابته في مواجهة الاحتلال، حيث شارك في التصدي للاجتياحات الصهيونية لقطاع غزة، وسجل حضوراً بطولياً في معارك عام 2006 و2014، وكان أحد الأبطال الذين سطروا “ملحمة طوفان الأقصى” بمواجهة العدوان الغاشم.

رغم القصف الوحشي والإبادة الجماعية التي تعرضت لها مدينة بيت حانون، بقي الرفيق الشهيد ثابتاً في أرضه، يقاتل جنباً إلى جنب مع أبناء شعبه ورفاق دربه، حتى لحظة استشهاده، ليؤكد أن المقاومة ليست مجرد خيار بل طريق حياة يختاره الأبطال.

إننا في الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين نعاهد شهيدنا القائد موسى الكفارنة وكل شهداء شعبنا بأن نواصل دربهم حتى تحقيق النصر الكامل والتحرير الشامل، وأن دماءهم الطاهرة ستبقى مشعلاً يضيء طريق الكفاح للأجيال القادمة.

المجد والخلود للرفيق الشهيد موسى الكفارنة ولجميع شهداء فلسطين.

The preferred way to deal with public Coca Cola adverts, demonstrated in the gif below by activists in CDMX in 2013, wasn't possible here because Lasair Dhearg wanted to make sure noone inside the Coca-Cola advert got hurt, of course

but maybe if you see a similar attempt by the Coca Cola Corporation to hijack Christmas in your town, and it is safe to do so, you could get some friends together, mask up, and have a Feliz Navidad the Mexican way!* Boycott Coca Cola! Free Palestine!

*( or at least remind everyone you know that the Coca Cola company is a main target of the BDS movement because they operate in and profit from the illegal Israeli settlements in occupied Palestine. )

UNRWA, a UN organisation to support Palestinian refugees, has been banned by Israel in an absolutely insane move by the genocidal maniacs in the Knesset. Israel absolutely flaunts their contempt of human rights and the UN and should be kicked out of the United Nations (and then destroyed). Anyway, donating to UNRWA probably wont be able to help palestinians for the foreseeable future, the rest should still be able to help.
