End of the year means projects from forever being posted.
We had to do a map and use it to communicate a secondary theme. So. Did Provence, a southern province of France that had a lot of influential impressionists painting there back in the day, like Van Gogh, Cezanne, and Monet~
I was in Provence several years ago; it really is amazing…
Last semester, we had a video game development class. We made a story and characters and game elements and concept art and everything. This, was the last thing we did ^^; It was our show-stopper piece and it was some of my proudest work from that semester. I was very happy with all the work I did in that class, mostly because I got to build on my own world and stories; I got to expand upon one part of the world really thoroughly and really develop the area and culture.
Welp, I did end up getting some requests! :D *flips*
Only two, so I put a lot of effort into them ^^ (though I suspect I would have done so regardlesss) They turned out not to be very sketchy requesty...I CAN'T KEEP PROMISES.

Alright, so I wanted to do something simple for February so I made a sketch and started refining it and then I got really into painting it and I had to make it all look nice and then homework came up and I promised myself I'd finish it.
It was really good digital painting practice, though! Since it was just going to be a simple thing for Valentine's, all of the food is referenced off random google images, I just sewed them together.
...So here it is ! *weak smile* I love you all

So these took longer than I expected? I don't know if I should do these faster in order to get more done or take my time. I like making them look nice, although they're still unfinished. I hope everyone likes them~
These were good practice, I'll do more in the future but not for a little while because I have a commission~ Also school work and potentially a job. I'll make a post when I'm doing more~! Thanks again for 40 followers!

1. I wanted to offer traditional sketches but I decided not too. I like this doodle of Daisy though~
2. That sneasel only appeared as traditional lineart in the chart but I did colour him in to see how it'd look as opposed to digital lineart. Aside from a few problems(time), he's pretty alright.

Canvas doesn't scan very well, so in the future, I'm sticking to illustration board since it's much smoother. I'll be putting up a commission price sheet soon, offering paintings like this, which would be mailed to the buyer. I know DJ IRL so he'll be getting it in person~
Let it also be known that I know very little about djs and how their whole setup works; I hope that it at least looks legit. ^^;
