🔥🍻🎻🔥 „ Wesele ” 🔥🎻🍻🔥

“Wesele” is a Polish word that means “wedding” or specifically the wedding reception. It’s similar to the word — “wesoło” — which can mean “happy”, “lively”, or “merry”. This is inspired by a Polish Song of the same name by the band BRAThANKI. It's about a wedding that doesn't go well. This character’s name is Lisa or Rue — she doesn’t mind either or.

Day Five: “Sad”

(don’t actually be sad)

A whole new year means...OLD ART! Things that I never posted but have been recently thinking of again. As a promotional piece, I made standees of five Gods in Ovm, the fantasy comic world that I’ve been working on. 

I want to experiment working with lineart like this again(and finish the other gods because there are 9 of them).

Ahh...here it is. My open project final! 

So, what I did was create 4 illustrations(one for each season) of areas and characters from the world I'm creating, Cecimar. They're supposed to be everyday scenes, just showing off the environments and creatures and what they do. I combined traditional and digital by doing an acrylic painting first and painting over it. They're not perfect but I really like this aesthetic and I'm going to try working with it more, hopefully including some vector work as well!

Another environment for my storytelling, video-game class. Final area, where darkness comes from.

There are a lot of problems with this but I am still fairly happy with it as a whole.

I'm a bad painter when it comes to painting within the lines. I work in layers and do the background, middle ground etc. in order so I usually paint over lines and then subsequently, paint over all the work I do if there needs to be something there. There was much more detail on the lower half of that serpent...and now it is lost. :c I should learn to plan better.
